Excellent customer service.Staff friendly and knowledgeable. I had trouble locating my compact cube boxes in store but I was helped by staff ( Kevin and Kai C) who were more than happy to help even for my very small, inexpensive purchase!

Needed an exchange of paint as changed mind on colour scheme, unfortunately I had lost my receipt. This was not a problem as the cashier was able to trace it on the till and I could exchange no problem. Excellent service and help as always

Faulty sun lounger, local store out of stock, rang Cheltenham store spoke with Kevin arranged to return and exchange for new lounger. No hassle, very helpful and professional, likewise Natalie on till. Thank you.

Bought tiles for three bathrooms and a utility room, Nathan was super helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Ended up buying more bits as he was willing to assist and advise on what’s needed.

Click and collect order ready for collection very quickly. Collection process easy. Efficient service.

Used click and collect. When staff member was wheeling out the trolley of flooring 1 stack of 8 boxes fell off. I saw through the warehouse window. When staff member brought me the trolley there was no mention of the now damaged boxes of flooring until I asked. On inspection 7 out of the 8 boxes had damaged corners and top aspect of the flooring. Refunded as no more in stock. Only after asking if they could check nearby stores for the rest did they do this. Extremely poor customer service.

Staff were very helpful in sorting out my order and kept me informed by phoning me on 2 occasions to let me know of a potential problem.

Absolutely awful service when collecting a c&c order! I waited a good 5 mins before anyone even came over to me, i pressed the call button & still noone came! A colleague walking past finally asked me if i was being served, I said no & I had an order to collect, he really seemed to struggle to even know where to look on the computer for it but then suddenly said he had found it, collecting my order seemed to be the most difficult thing in the world, I was given my first order which had an item missing, i told the colleague what the item was & explained to him it was the same order number but one item had been delivered to the store as it wasn't in stock, he found the item out the back then said I needed to pay for it! I said I had already paid for it as it was the same click & collect order. He had to call someone else over to check then she didn't really seem to understand what was going on either. I was starting to get irritated at this point as the whole point of c&c is to be quick. In the end another colleague was called over so I had to explain once again what had happened but she couldn't seem to be able to work out how to refund my duplicate order either & was flicking back & fourth on both my orders on the computer, I explained over & over what had happened but nobody seemed to understand how to rectify it & kept on getting confused between the two orders & were trying to refund items off the order I wanted to keep even though I had explained more than once what items I wanted. In the end I got them to refund both orders as I had wasted 40 minutes waiting for them to sort it out & couldn't wait any longer so left empty handed! (Refunding both orders together suddenly was an easy task & took a couple of minutes, not sure why that was easier than working out how to cancel just one???) None of them apologised for the inconvenience or for me wasting my time so left very unhappy! I use c&c service everywhere as it's so simple but clearly it isn't in homebase! I will never ever order from there again! I think some staff training is much needed as I had to explain you can do a c&c order for an item that isn't in stock but it can be ordered in to the store for free collection, why should I be telling the staff that??? Honestly it was 40 minutes of pure frustration when it should of been a simple task in my opinion. I felt strongly enough about how awful it was to leave this review as soon as i got home!

We decided to update our kitchen. We visited the Cheltenham outlet and were greeted by the very professional JAN GARDINER . We explained our requirements and she talked us through the options and the availability of products. Jan came to our house and constructed detailed plans. The plans she producede were easy to follow and gave a comprehensive view of the finished product. We decided on the kitchen and Jan talked us through the ordering process. Jan gave aus a list of kitchen fitters
and even carried out a home visit to discuss options with a fitter. We cannot commend her highly enough.
Jan laid out a road map through the whole experience. Always available to address any problems should they arise.
An absolute pleasure to deal with Jan. A real asset to the company. Unfortunately she has transferred to Ledbury. A real loss to Cheltenham.

I had brilliant service in store, Kevin also helped me take my bbq to the car, we had to un pack it to make it fit and he helped me get it all in, great service!

Spotted online items with good stock levels shown in their Cheltenham store. The outdoor plant pots shown online were not found. Very few staff in their store, two were not in the least interested. Full marks to Kris however who investigated and found abundant stocks of missing items in a locked off area. Only giving 4* rating because of Kris. Can't award the other * because of the other two, useless, staff.

The box is absolutely covered in thick dust as no one could be bothered to clean it.

The staff were absolutely amazing. Me and my little daughter popped in to pick up a couple of 5l tins of Dulux Easycare paint we ordered online. We saw that they had a huge sale on their garden furniture, and picked up an absolute bargainous, 6 chair with table and parasole set. The lovely, kind, and helpful lady that helped us buy and load it into our car was absolutely brilliant. Your Cheltenham store staff should be commended.
