Absolutely diabolical. Took my money said the holiday was booked. Didn't confirm, had to call them next day and they said they didn't put the holiday through that night because the internet went down and now the flight back is booked up. No apology. Now I have to wait 10 days for my money back and can't afford to book another holiday as it was a last minute booking. This company assured me the holiday was booked and they would contact me in the morning, none of these things happened and they were not helpful at all in sorting it out. Their attitude was, so what! They showed total lack of sympathy and care and should not be trading. Disgusting. Gemma you are a total disgrace and should not be working as a holiday agent.

Keep well away they will change the price and the holiday,when they call you back with all kind of excuses ,they need to be reported, to trading standards

If I could I would give zero stars they tried to rip me off adding 'extra' charges then calling back saying problem with the flights I'm worried they will try and take money from my bank as they have my card details avoid please.ni don't normally do this but had such a bad experience

Holiday discount is probably the best site for booking your holidays and short trips to your desire destination. I have booked couple of short trips through holiday discount and I found some cheap deals. I would definitely recommend the site if you are looking to do some short trip or may be even long trips, but their service is brilliant.

The prices double when you phone
Called two links via their website. Found appealing holidays only to find extra charges for various parts of the package.
Then told that transfers couldn’t be guaranteed but charged and then asked for handling fees on top after pricing had been agreed.
After over an hour on the phone and eventually agreeing a price I was told the hotel had been overbooked. (He had checked availability only 2 minutes previous when there was plenty of availability and choice of rooms!
Disconcerting as they take credit card details then tell you about the extra charges.
They also do not respect your personal details. I requested my details to be removed to prevent further contact and 2 hrs later I was called again.

Don’t waste your time!
Booked package holiday after doing lots of research as I currently have mobility issues and found a hotel that ticked the boxes we needed and booked with this company, deposit paid and all good. Final payment made yesterday and then the day later we get an email to say the hotel booked is sold out and we are being moved even further away and the hotel doesn’t have the same facilities!!!
Not impressed at all! One very annoyed customer!!!

Excellent Travelled many time & booked with them ...User friendly and genuine

I booked my trip to Spain with these guys at the end of June. I was nervous about the terrible reviews but I gave it a shot anyways. We traveled 15th July. The total trip cost us just over €600 all inclusive 4*. Transfers were extra. The flights were with Ryanair (sadly, I hate those guys) but there was no other direct flight available so that was fine. Stanley was easy to deal with and very helpful. We could pay the extra €10 for them to do our online check in or we could have done it ourselves. We decided to pay the extra (I know, pure laziness). We found them very easy to use and a pleasure to deal with. At the end of the day they are a discount holiday company and the probably work n commission. If you dont book with them they probably dont get paid/miss out on their bonus. I found them fine. i would use them again. They are basically a broker for holidays.
The hotel:
We arrived at the hotel at about 6.30 on Sunday, we were stunned at how beautiful the reception was and the staff were so amazing and friendly. They were extremely helpful and, as we were All Inclusive, the let us know that dinner would be starting soon if we wanted to go to the restaurant.
Our room was lovely, there was 3 beds, which was perfect for the 3 of us girls on holidays together. The decor wouldnt be to my taste but it was fine and clean. There was a balcony facing the pool and we had a side sea view which was so unexpected and lovely. The room was very clean. The bathroom was suitable too. There was a shower and a bath with a shower in it. The bath shower was much more powerful than the regular shower so we used that instead and it was lovely. The aircon worked fine, 1 day we had switched it off for a few hours and had to fiddle with the switch a few times to get it to turn back on again, but thats not really an issue to be honest, it still worked.
The cleaner came and changed our room every day and cleaned it, she was so lovely. The bar staff were wonderful, so very friendly and helpful. They did table service as well as bar service. The AI drinks selection is brilliant!
The pool is smallish but not a major issue as any time i went for a dip i was still able to swim, so people dip in and out of it all day. Im not a sun worshiper so would happily sit in the shade, and didnt use the sunbeds, but the girls used them one day and were happy with them. There arent a huge amount of them but there are enough.
The sauna and Jacuzzi are amazing. So relaxing and clean. Well worth booking in advance, especially as you get the room to yourself! that is covered in the AI too which was a nice surprise. There is a spa there, although I didnt see this till after we had a massage up town, but next time I would definitely go to the hotel masseur. I didnt ask about it, and they did provide us with information on arrival, I had not read the leaflet though so was my mistake. The prices looked very reasonable also.
The food: Such a huge selection and something to suit everyone. Its different for every meal and every day and so good. There were roasts, a huge selection of fish and seafood, duck one night, rabbit another, steak, loads of vege options and loads of deserts and fresh fruit. I only went for breakfast 2 mornings, and there was a large selection from cereal and fruit to fry ups and yogurts. We had decided before we arrived that we would eat out of the hotel a couple of nights, but the food was so good and so varied that we didnt bother and ate in the hotel all week! We ordered a picnic one day as we were going to the beach. It was after midnight when we ordered iit and they still had it ready for us the next day! There was loads in it with sandwiches, fruit, and a lovely tinfoil wrapped hot snack. There was loads in it and it was covered in the AI.
The hotel is Adult recommended and not Adult only, but there were only about 5 kids there all week, and they were all so well behaved that it wasnt an issue.
The hotel is about 2min walk from the beach, It is literally around the corner! There are activities going on in the hotel every day and entertainment at night. We didnt take part in any of the activities, but it was nice that there was the option. We went for a complete chill out holiday and thats why we didnt take part. The night entertainment was grand. nothing overly exciting, but the music was fun, and a lot of classics. The Spanish dancing night was great though and would recommend that. We never had any noise at night, and although the hotel is close to nightlife, it was lovely and quiet when we went to sleep.
Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely, 100%! I have been on AI before in other places and it was ok but the AI here is wonderful.
I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the future with my husband and maybe a gang of friends.
As for some of the negative reviews, Im really not sure where they are getting the negativity from. I really coundnt find any issues. Maybe some people are extremely hard to please. This place was perfect for us and there wasnt anyone we met there that though it was anything but wonderful. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff, we will be back!

All in all we had an amazing time and had no problem dealing with Holiday Discount Centre. We would use them again, and would recommend. What I would say is that you should always book travel insurance in case of emergencies anyway. This covers against issues.

they call you back & demand more money. currently trying to charge "deposit" back via credit card company.. avoid! suspect that all company's on holidaydiscountcentre.co.uk are run by this shower of crooks.

ABSOLUTE SHAM OF A COMPANY.
The on-line price seemed very good, but when you ring the price had gone up from £550 to £730 and not just for the hotel I wanted. I wasn't too fussed which hotel I stayed at as I gave him five or six to choose from and guess what, they had all gone up between £200 and £500 or had sold out, but he had other holidays that were far above the budget I had given him. He tried to explain that it was because the prices were correct as of 06:00 that morning. I went on-line again the following evening and you guessed it, the prices were still as low as the day before.

The service Holiday discount centre provide is just awful. Clearly the telephone sales person is only interested it making a sale and had no interest in my needs. They say that they are just a price comparison website and cannot be held responsible for the prices but I think they are missing the point and if they bothered to read my review properly they would see this. My point is that they have plenty of low cost holidays on their website but when you phone in all those holidays are gone but they can supply you with an alternative which is more expensive.

Best sticking with a reputable company.

Used this on 2 ossacions now and would like to say yeah they offer a comparsion for cheap holiday both time i have booked a holiday away in the sun for less then £300 pp. The ONLY issue we had one the call center guy put the check in for British airways in his own email address!!! resulting in us having to do the British airways check at a cost of £50 pp at the end of our holiday which we didnt enjoy but for £300 pp we didnt care!

We are going to book again for the same destination with these again! hope this helps people.. we will ensure this time the checks in are done correctly and way before we are 1 hour from departing from the airport haha!!!

This would be a 5-star review if they filtered out which companies they decide to advertise on their site.
The companies such as Cheers2Sun and Hot Deal Holidays put this website to shame.
HDC really need to assess the credibility of the companies before affiliating themselves with them.
Creates a bad image and has resulted in us not wanting to use this site ever again.
Poor first experience.

Booked using them 4 different occasions. All went well. Prices are based on 2 people and luggage/transfers are seperate but with amazing prices we can't complain.
