Great store
Great store, friendly staff. My one slight quibble, your website has shown this store as having items in stock, when I went to the shop to purchase them there was no sign of them. Ended up buying them online, but would much prefer to have bought them from a physical shop.

Staff good, Phone charges not so good.
Ordering the purchase was easy and staff very helpful, but when I phoned for an update on delivery I was in a queue and disappointed to get a text after the call to say calls were being charged at 45p a minute so, I’m glad I only waited 3 minutes.

The reason we provide 084 numbers for stores is that they offer additional options and increased functionality that help us maintain consistent service levels across all of our stores. Regrettably, we do not have control over what additional access fees the various phone providers charge. For this reason, we do highlight the additional potential cost to our customers at the beginning of each call, stating that "Calls are charged at 7 pence per minute plus your phone company's access charge".

Good service at Portsmouth store
Once again staff always helpful and efficient.
Jai took my order last week and informed me HMV now send email updates instead of texts which I duly received and when I collected my order from the Portsmouth store Willy T served me.
I enjoy visiting the store and looking at the music and films when I'm in town and the store is well frequented by all ages.

The shop assistant was very helpful and polite with regards to the items I wished to purchase, unfortunately two of the items weren't in stock but she explained she could order them for me and have them delivered, which I did with one of the items, which arrived on time and thankfully damage free.

Quick hassle free experience, with the help of staff to find what I wanted.
I find the vinyl section hard to navigate, I think artists names could be better highlighted.
