Inflexible stock management
1 item of my multi buy on-line order was out of stock awaiting new stock. However when i picked up other part of the order in store , missing item was in stock. There is no system for releasing stock in store which would have completed my order. So I remain waiting. This I find disappointing, as it could help move stock at store level whilst keeping a customer happy by completing their order quicker. Staff at store were very pleasant , but unable to help .

Clear communication and nicely packaged
I ordered the Superman (2025) Steel book from HMV, and HMV made me aware of a delay in the release of the product, they then ended up delivering it sooner than the new release date which was a lovely suprise.
The Steel book came in great condition and in an appropriately sturdy cardboard packet. I am quite pleased!

I hadn't heard from hmv about my item with my bad emails so I went to shop to find out about it and the lady was great help said it was out of stock and asked if I still wanted to wait I said yes please then all the emails came as said went after work got my item with no problems so everyone I spoke to was great at colchester hmv

Aging lady prefers shops
Young lady very helpful no problem looking fir cd l wanted. Processed quickly. Sent to shop within couple of days. It is a pity the Chelmsford one is closed. Hope you can find a way to open it again. It's good to browse and by doing that you always find something else. Thank you.

Broken cd case
Easy to order, arrived quickly and the cd I bought was perfect, but the only problem was that the case for the cd was slightly cracked and broken. Apart from that it was brilliant
