do not use click and collect
used the click and collect option for the first time and it was a disaster. i ordered something at the start of december for one of my friends and decided to go with the click and collect option, all was going well and it was dispatched fairly quickly. however, it states the order should arrive in store within 2-5 days, once it got to 10 days without any updates i started to get worried. i visited the shop to enquire about my order, a man behind the till checked my order and said it has been dispatched but that was it, he said if it didn’t arrive by christmas i would get a full refund. i was in town the next day so i decided to go in again and buy the present and ask for a refund for my order as it was now in stock in store and there was less than a week until christmas. i was served by another worker and they also checked my order for me, they said that my order had been there for 6 days and they had sent me an email! i did not receive an email and i still have not, and if it had been there for almost a week why wasn’t i given it the day prior when i asked about it? the worker was actually quite rude to me about it and made it seem like i was to blame, i felt extremely uncomfortable.

Rude employee
when I arrived I went to the checkout to pick up my order there was no one there so I waited then I saw one of your colleagues I asked if anyone was serving and his reply was I’m coming round now not in a nice way either I found him very rude colleagues like that need retraining on how to talk to customers

Fast delivery
From the online website, which was easy to use and I found the items I required quickly, and payment was straightforward. I was kept upto.date on delivery dates and times, which was very helpful, so I could be at home. The items arrived in excellent condition, and were well wrapped up.

HMV Colchester fell well below my…
HMV Colchester fell well below my expectations today 03/1123 . The sales staff couldn’t give me a time when a delivery to the store would be made regarding a new release which due out today . Whether the issue was with the supplier or not , it’s not really my problem as a customer , and the staff serving me were really unhelpful and bordering on rude saying I should have ordered online rather than trying to purchase at the store .Needless to say I will not be returning and will make future purchases online . I would have thought HMV would want to encourage people to use the store , otherwise what’s the point of having it .
