Great choice.
I went to my local hmv store with my grandson ( he just starting out with vinyl) hopefully finding some older reissued music , I found some great ones ! Ended up with bowie/ Keane/ & ordered boland , which came to store in a couple of days ! Good speed great staff.

The young chap in store was helpful and pleasant and tried his best to track down the cds i wanted. And ordered them straight away for me. They were dispatched in good time and arrived well packaged.

HMV Hassle Free Album Exchange.
The album l ordered online was a bad pressing, a manufacturing fault. Rather then have the hassle of mailing it back, I could take it to my local HMV store. This was hassle free and not a problem at all. Rayan at my HMV shop was great, gave me another copy and said any further problems then just bring the album back. You can't get better customer service then that. This professional service and variety of products at great prices brings me back to HMV time and time again, why go anywhere else it's perfect. Thank you HMV Castleford.

Great staff at HMV Castleford/Glasshoughton, they are a genuine credit to you. Friendly and always engaging and happy to chat; funny, too. I can’t remember the name of the young lady who helped me with my pre-order (sorry), but she was great. She made my day tbf. Collection staff (is that the right terminology?) were equally great. The weather was awful on collection day (04/10) and the 3 of us had a good old whinge about it! Haha, typical Brits, huh? LOL

Never had a problem with HMV online
Never had a problem with HMV online, this also includes their Ebay store as well.
Dispatched within a day, packaged well.
Only gripe is as a collector of blu ray and UHD 4k movies during the HMV promotions, such as buy three for 50 pound, you are not informed whether or not you'll be getting the 'limited' version.
Example I bought 3 for 50, two movies were recent releases the third not so, the newest of the three came without 'slip case/s' or booklet, however the movies were illustrated with the slip cases, the third (to my surprise) came with slip case, poster and booklet.
Still value for money but I was a tad disappointed, I'll still be sticking with HMV because of the great service experiences I've had thus far.

Perfect in almost every way, the only downside being six days from confirmation of despatch to notification of readiness for collection.
