hmv (UK) - Cardiff Omdömen 

I did not know I could order albums from the shop, so when I asked behind the counter the lovely person informed me I could, and was incredibly helpful (plus we had a lovely chat about the albums, and which order you'd experience them in.). It was silky smooth as a process, and the parcel arrived incredibly swiftly. I'll definitely be doing this again! Plus, the new Garbage album is fantastic

Visited Cardiff Queen St HMV with a £10 voucher from Verian, formerly Love2Shop. The voucher was still attached to the card. The trainee(I seem to attract them) swiped it 5 times. It declined each time. His colleague was quick to say they don't accept them until I showed him the list of shops incl HMV. Another assistant tried but failed. The manger was called who's attitude, tone and demeanour was poor. He was very quick to say it wasn't their problem. No apologies, no smiles etc. Confrontational. He just wanted to get rid of me. I don't know why the card was showing a blank amount? but it happens every time at HMV stores. I've used them at Argos and Matalan with no problem. HMV prices are high and SOME staff need some customer care training. The manager was a bad influence on the nice trainee. No more HMV for me!

HMV is the only place to shop for DVDs and CDs
I've previously used other suppliers and have received very bad copies of inferior quality CDs and DVDs which are fakes!
HMV is the best place for genuine Movies on DVDs and Music CDs

Was in good condition but delivery took the pass but I would order from them again so ayyy

Staff were very helpful finding obscure dvd I enquired about,,,,

I recently preordered an art book via HMV’s website. To my delight, the book was dispatched to me earlier than the initial expected release date but was damaged on arrival. I was able to contact their ‘ring and reserve’ service and ensure a copy was available for exchange. The lady on the phone was very helpful and I was able to reserve a copy of the book for collection the next day. I received a text confirmation very shortly after the phonecall. The staff in store were also very helpful and took care of the exchange without issue.

Tills crashed after my transaction. I requested a receipt as it was clothing I purchased and it then became clear the transaction had been put into a pending state. No apology from store manager and was left waiting for 40 mins with no resolution. Left details with store and was not contacted. Then called store twice a day for over a week. Finally got my money back ten days later. Customer services took 5 days to even respond and didn't even initially acknowledge the poor customer service.
I get that tech issues happen but everything that occured after this error was completely avoidable such as the lack of apology, any compensation for the wait or excessive time it took to resolve and the fact i was 100 quid out of pocket for a week.

It didn't take long for my order to come in and I enjoyed the cd some of the were catchyand were emotional at the same time.I even got a signed copy!

Helpful staff

I couldn't find the dvd in store but after chatting with the sales assistants we found the movie online and we got the best deal. Not long to wait for click and collect either. Also click and collect was easy to do.

Got the blu ray at half price and used click and collect. Item arrived in store very quick, cannot fault the company
