As a hobbyist, I play with 3D printers to print e.g. car models, cartoon figures, toys for children e.t.c. By following some 3D printing youtubers, I learned that we can use AI to generate models or figures. I'm quite interested in it. I've tried to use one picture, four pictures, words as input, to generate car models and cartoon figures. I've tried several AI websites: tripoAI, Hitem3D, MeshyAI, Hunyuan, and Kiri. I think Hitem3D is more good at figure generation, it has more details than others. Besides, I like the recently published feature: automatic body parts seperation, it saves me much time. As before, I need to use tools like meshmixer and blender to manually seperate body parts, it's boring and takes much time. Comparing to other competitors regarding to this new feature, Hitem3D is the best. However, when it comes to like car models or motorbike models, it has less details comparing to tripoAI.

Very slow and does not reproduce details very well. Also, it is not expensive, but it is not cheap either. There are better options out there that are faster, give better results and don't cost as much
