I purchased a newspaper for my dad for his 70th. He is a retired newspaper editor so felt this was very suited! He absolutely loved it - even recognised some of the reporters. Amazing condition too. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible customer experience with zero customer service or support once payment is taken.
After accidently clicking on standard delivery rather than express, I quickly contacted the company to explain my error and asked if I could kindly change it to express delivery. Of course, expecting to pay additional fees.
The response was less than adequate and was told they couldnt do anything once the process was sent. They couldnt offer a refund, they couldnt change the order and they couldnt change the shipping. Nothing, no offer to help in any way. Possibly the worst service Ive experienced with an online company.
I wouldn't recommend this company at all but should you use them proceed with caution as nothing can be done once they've taken your money!!

I had a present from my son from this company for my birthday in november and still after 3 mistakes with the book and it's still wrong and to charge him for delivery isn't right the last book even had his name on it instead of mine my birth date and year. Absolutely wasn't checked not good business. Three books and none of them are right!!!!!

These people are thieves. I am beyond disappointed. I ordered weeks ago for a Christmas and still haven’t seen it. Who knows if I’ll ever get my money back. I wish I could report them to some kind of authority. Daylight robbery and I’m the fool who wasted money on a con.
UPDATE: The company gave me a refund within 24hours no questions asked. Thank you for at least honoring my disappointment.

My book arrived with a dented and dirty corner. The box had obviously fallen apart in transit and been taped up. When I told Historic Newspapers they immediately responded with multiple ways to fix the problem. They were responsive and helpful and we need more customer service like this. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their books!

This custom book place is something special. From the moment I placed the order, fast delivery and customer service absolutely brilliant.

Gorgeous book with more in it than I expected, but it was packaged for shipping poorly—one side of the package was just completely open (had never been closed) and all the corners of the book were scrunched and damaged, so it doesn’t look new.

I bought 2 of the books, for a 50th birthday and xmas present. I ordered on the 7th November for a 50th on the 6th December. Unfortunately, the order got lost ( not the fault of historic newspapers I hasten to add) and a week before the 6th December I contacted customer services to say the order had failed to turn up, customer services were amazing, my order was redone and delivered on the 6th December just in time. I cannot thank customer services enough. The items themselves are great. Packed with loads of information( some of the print is quite small though) perfect gifts and I would definitely order from this company again.

Fantastic present to give to give to someone who is a huge fan of a specific topic! Can't wait to give it at Christmas. Really good quality and great that can be personalised. Only issue I had to not make it 5 star is that the packaging doesn't hold up very well if delivered when raining.

Great present. My partner will be thrilled with the ozzy tribute! The delivery was very quick less than a week to ireland.

Product was as stated and arrived on time.
