The Online Yoga Teacher Training at Himalaya Yoga Valley was an incredibly enriching experience that has influenced many aspects of my life. The program is very well structured, with unlimited access to materials that you can return to again and again. The teachers share their knowledge in a very clear, engaging, and inspiring way.
The course introduces many different aspects of yoga, including philosophy, pranayama, mantra, mudras, anatomy, Ayurveda, and of course asana practice. It teaches not only how to develop your own personal practice, but also how to guide others, which is extremely valuable.
The live online classes are truly invaluable. There is a wide variety of sessions available, led by wonderful teachers who offer classes of different themes and intensity levels. Even though I have completed the course, I will definitely continue to attend the classes and stay connected with the school.
I feel deeply grateful for this experience. It has transformed my personal practice, and yoga has now become an integral part of my life.

Great yoga teacher training! The anatomy section was super helpful, and the online anatomy teacher explained everything so clearly. The example classes, along with the adjustment and alignment guidance, were really useful. I highly recommend this training

I have just completed the 200 hour online teacher training with Himalya Valley Yoga and enjoyed it from start to finish. This is a well-designed, easy to follow online program with support available when needed. Professional teachers with a wealth of knowledge covering all aspects of yoga - philosophy, meditation, anatomy, ayurveda, asanas and much more. Having access to the Alaya app is an added bonus and allows you to join classes at times that suit your schedule. Whether you're looking to deepen your practice or become a yoga teacher, I would highly recommend.

I was looked after from the moment i got met by the taxi driver with the welcome pack to my graduation. i cant recommend Himalaya valley enough. Each one of the teachers an expect in their specific subject. I've since taught my 1st yoga class and i did with confidence and felt very proud. Being able to do it online in my own time was great for me as I was full time as a school teacher. I loved being able to go back over lectures and live classes to deepen my understanding!

I have just finished the course & would highly recommend it if you’ve been considering the training. The course is great to fit in around your other commitments due to it being online but having the hybrid option is an added bonus. I have learnt so much through the course content & really enjoyed the live asana classes & the lectures. The support, encouragement & quick response from the course leaders is fantastic.I feel that I now live yoga rather than just practice it!

I would absolutely recommend this course. I started with doubtful voices in my head but all of this knowledge and practice has quashed those doubts .I love the straight forward way in which the course is delivered. For me the flexibility of doing online classes at a time that suits as well as the live classes was a vital part of my success. It took almost 5 months and it was such a time of personal growth for me. I feel so confident in my practice and abilities and feel ready to start my new chapter as a yoga teacher. I am about half-way through my online 200hour HYV teacher training. I really like the richness of the content, covering philosophy, chanting, meditation, anatomy, Ayurveda and so much more. I signed up because I want to deepen my own understanding of what it is to live within yoga practice. maybe I will teach, maybe I will not, but the primary goal for me is to enrich my yoga journey.
The material is accessible and rich in experience and knowledge. The tutors are personable, kind and so supportive. This could well be the yoga teaching programme for you too.

I recently completed the 200 Hour YTT & it was a great experience. The Himalaya Yoga Valley team are thoroughly professional, with wonderful teaching, a very well structured curriculum & support available in person & on line. Coupled with excellent, traditional teaching in their studios & on the Alaya online platform I would highly recommend Himalaya Yoga Valley.

Absolutely lovely experience, very well structured, and paced. All the members of Himalaya involved were very supportive, and inclusive. Being a beginner myself in "yoga world" I appreciate the most that Himalaya is teaching a traditional path of yoga. If you are interested in going into the roots of the yoga, and want to either deepen your personal practice, or become a yoga, or pranayama teacher, do not hesitate for too long;-)

Having completed both my 200-hour and 300-hour certifications with HYV, I can confidently recommend them due to the superior quality of their teaching. The instructors are not only deeply knowledgeable across all facets of yoga – from anatomy and philosophy to asana and pranayama – but also exceptionally dedicated and supportive, fostering a rich learning environment. I learned so much about the practice of yoga, taught with so much respect for the origins of the practice, and I also learned so much about myself along the journey! What an amazing course, the content is clear and always relevant to becoming a yoga teacher. The format is very user friendly, student support is second to none. Coaching call every week is brilliant. The live classes were so good, amazing teachers and content.

Would highly recommend Himalaya. I went deep into practice and theory. In just under a month you will leave here feeling confident to teach your own classes and have a great understanding of yoga.

The team have a wealth of knowledge and are all so passionate about sharing it and enriching each trainee with their valuable insights and expertise. The training was interactive which made the learning so much more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend this course, it is jam packed, well paced and balanced with so many topics and modalities covered.
The tranquil setting, nourishing food and friendly staff creates the perfect environment to learn, grow and up-skill . Such an interesting course to learn how to help yourself and others live life fully with their holistic view, not just looking at the physical body but the subtle body also.
It is trauma informed, well organised and executed. Really looking forward to bringing these learnings and practices into my teaching.
