I purchased a pair of shoes from hi-tec.co.uk online. Money was taken for the amount of the purchase from my paypal account by Gardiner Bros & Co, but the shoes remained in my basket and were never shipped. Avoid at all costs.

Paint of the sneaker comes off after a few weeks and the knitting lets loose. Terrible quality sneakers.

Bought some hi tec Trail ultra low wp shoes from go outdoors just over a year ago. They are absolute rubbish and poor quality. I hadnt worn them alot but the upper seal has split and waterproofing has gone totally. Although it was a year they are not fit for purpose.I tried to get a refund but go outdoors refused as the purchase was a year ago. Contacted hi tec and sent pictures but they took no responsibility for the poor product and said it was go outdoors I should go to. Don't buy Hi-tec

Utterly useless as a hiking boot. I broke these in, town walking in the rain, and my footing slipped on every surface apart from tarmac. A pair of high heeled fashion shoes affords more grip.

Bought my Hi-Tec trail shoes last September from Go Outdoors. They were perfect dog walking shoes - waterproof and comfortable. Unfortunately the uppers came away from the soles on both shoes after only five months. Go Outdoors were great and gave me an immediate and full refund.

HiTec Interceptor Askari brown.
Exactly on 1 year, sole tore in half.
Nothing about this boot is better than its competitors. The leather is pure, except for the softer top boot part. Started tearing after around 8 months. Other cheaper brands lasted much longer.

Heb nu mijn tweede paar. Lopen fantastisch maar ook bij mijn tweede paar laten de stiksels aan de voorzijde los. Bij het eerste paar dacht ik dat het gewoon pech was, maar nu bij mijn tweede paar is dat geen toeval. Helaas want het zijn geen goedkope schoenen.

Used for around five years but now throughly wornout! but very pleased with mine, much lighter in weight than they look which makes them very nimble, possibly at the expense of some strength, lost its water proofing after a couple of years despite water proofing treatment, very comfortable providing the terrain is not to demanding. Recommended.

I've had Hi Tec boots in the (distant) past that were light, durable, comfortable and inexpensive. The current ones were relatively inexpensive, reasonably light, initially comfortable but the soles have the abrasion resistance of cottage cheese. The hollow lugs on the entire sole unit are subject to rapid wear and once perforated the boot will pump water from puddles or damp grass into the boot with every step taken. I understand I'm not buying bespoke handmade equipment for Alpine expeditions, but they should be able to handle pavements and park paths without turning into suction pumps after being worn less than 20 times. I have no quibbles with the rest of the construction of the footwear, the design and materials are more than adequate, but the self destructing sole is the most cynical piece of inbuilt sabotage I have ever come across in an item of footwear. Making the lugs solid would have only added fractionally to the cost but would have improved the durability of the boots enormously and restored the brand's reputation as a provider of good value products. Instead you are bracketed with the hugely diminished Karrimor as essentially rip off merchants who can sell people a product ONCE. You have lost another customer who won't be back for repeat business. I would have came back for another pair if they'd lasted even a year but less than a month is seriously unacceptable. How can you have got this so wrong?

Bought a paint of Euro Hiker boots. They didn’t even last 3 weeks. 3 of the lace holders broke away from the boot.
As I made temporary repairs to get me home , they say I was in breach of their self serving internal warranty procedure, so wouldn’t help.
If you are tempted by the cheap price, STEER WELL CLEAR, you will regret it

Shoes advertised as water proof they were not.
Within 2 months shoes falling apart customer service long and arduous process.
Disappointing all around

Order some boots which unfortunately did not fit. Refund was processed quickly. Had to pay for delivery and then return postage so am nearly £10 out of pocket with nothing to show for it. Would not use again for this reason.

Very poor customer service
I purchased a pair of trainers, the wrong size was in the box ! It took days and two emails to get a response, then I had to prove I had the wrong size by uploading photos of the size on the sole, size on the box and the invoice !! When I complained at this I was told they would not issue refund until they had this proof, I stated I did not want a refund but a replacement, only to be told that wasn’t possible I would have to reorder and pay again presumably before the refund arrived which of course had to be chased up too and I’m assuming they won’t refund the postage despite none of this being my fault ! I’ll be purchasing a replacement elsewhere, poor show HiTec …..to be avoided

I fell in love with the Catalina II Trail in pink, orange, & teal. The colors are fabulous! They are well cushioned, with good arch support [I have a high arch]. They grip well & stabilize on lateral movement [tennis]. My feet feel downright spoiled! With these shoes, so do I. Have a swell day!

I bought from Hi-Tec web a pair of woman hiking waterproof boots..the only problem is they are not waterproof!! Third time on my feet, walked around the park with my dogs and they started to leak! No tears or holes! I contacted Hi-Tec but unfortunately not got any answer.
Better spend the money on something else.
UPDATE: the customer service have finally been intouch - but the experience was below poor! They will do everything just to not take responsibility for the product.Literally the company knows that it's selling cheap stuff with misleading descriptions. In this case woman fuse trail boots are definitely not waterproof. The material is the kind of "plastic" that make your feet sweat and boil in the warmer weather.. and totally soaked in the rain!

Called Hi-Tech and asked if they can replace an under mount sink. They said Yes.. had Tech come who said they can replace pipes but to call Entrusted to replace sink. Entrusted says job was too small to call their handyman Danny at 561-2-5-4321. I called left 3 vm’s no return call. I would definitely not suggest dealing with HiTech bc if they give this type of service to new customers to gain their business how would you expect them to handle you if you are a customer?

I wore these boots daily and after 6 weeks the soles of the right shoe came unglued from the upper material. I had bought some shoe inserts to make them more comfortable but that didn't even help with the hard plastic of the soles. There are better boots out there for a little bit more that are made better with better materials. I will definitely not buy high-tech boots again!

HI TEC MULTITERRA AERO. Hiking / Walking Trainers.

I bought a pair of these for a trip to Pompeii. They lasted less than a day before the soles parted company with the uppers on both shoes. Abysmal quality.

I have bought Hi-tec ‘squash’ shoes for years and would swear by them but these ‘shoes’ should be avoided at all costs as they are not fit for purpose.
