Firstly I personally want to thank Joanne and Andrew for the outstanding works carried out and fitting us in sharpish considering the waiting list that can occur.

Firstly Joanne came out to view and survey the bathroom that was in real need of a upgrade and new design, even the very bathroom floor was basically near rotten. So polite and understanding and explained the wait on bathroom refit.

The kitchen was the other area badly needed a makeover due to previous works commenced previous years. Liam was another member of the team who came out to do the survery and again listened and instructed to call that evening to view the plans , which was impressive.

We made arrangement to go up to view the new kitchen plans and also saw bathroom items prior to that and was just everything to spec and more!

Some lovely items both within budget and also of course outside budget. I had to respect both Nicole and Liam for not being pushy and trying to help pick what was nice but not super expensive but more so practical for the kitchen and bathroom space.

From sign off on plans and items they kept us in regular communication on due date of works commencing to fitters to items arriving. What I liked was the timeframes for each day and the fitter that day / area of work to be covered and adhering to that process.

Kitchen refit was the first thing to commence and on the first day one of the workmen Victor was excellent, again very polite and had our old kitchen took out really quick. Not to go into full timeframes but the rest of the workers from plumbers to joiners to kitchen fitter where quick, clean, very friendly and respectful towards our property.

I want to personally thank Victor, Robert, Gerard and Andy for their excellent workmanship.

Onto the Bathroom... We got a call before expected due date and was amazed to get it started sooner. Couldn't thank the workmen yet again just getting into doing the job and even laying basically new wood under flooring seeing condition it was previously in to the electrician going out of his way also. David was an absolute gentleman along with rest of the work men. Everything was also smooth from timelines to sign of to payment.

When finalising payment at the showroom Glengormley, Antrim Road, Receptionist Carolyn as well as Jackie where so helpful and friendly.

I will definitely be back in the near future for other items. Thank you again for making my house a home again.

Went with my family to showroom in Lisburn looking for new composite front and back doors and dry verge for my home. No-one was there to help but they made an appointment for a sales rep to call at 3:30 the following Wednesday. Received a phone call at 4:00 to say that he would be there in 10 minutes ( no apology ) I explained I would be out briefly. Although I waited at home for him for 30 minutes he couldn’t wait 2 minutes for me. A brouchure left at my back door. He phoned me at 5:30 to say he would give me a quote if I picked out what I wanted, he had been held up at another call and needed home to let his wife go to work. Surely he knew he would be late to me before 3:30 and could have called. I was surprised he even had time to measure all that I wanted before rushing away. Hhi obviously value the time of their staff more than my time - I shall get my doors etc from someone else who values my time.

Absolutely delighted with my new kitchen from HHI 🤩 Tracy, the kitchen centre manager was so helpful and ensured everything ran smoothly. Will be a return customer for PVC door really soon!

Just had a new bathroom fitted by HHI. Very pleased with finished result. Michael (fitter) and Ollie (plumber),who I met, were both exceptional. Also electrical work carried out by Michael was excellent too. Would highly recommend HHI and would definitely use them again, Absolutely no complaints. Very pleased and satisfied customer.

I got a dormer window clad in uPVC as the existing timber cladding was rotting badly. The work was carried out by 2 very professional craftsmen. They called me prior to arrival to give me notice. On arrival they confirmed the job they were doing, allowing me to see that the cladding was exactly what was ordered. They then politely asked me to move my car off the driveway to ensure for no car damage and allow for a working area to cut the cladding planks.
The work was then carried out and on completion I was given the opportunity to inspect it. Everything was done to my satisfaction. The 2 men cleared all the waste material and debris from the driveway and front garden.
Lastly, they gave me the invoice with the agreed amount to be paid, explaining fully how payment was to be made.
Am excellent job by these 2 men. Well done !

Beyond excellent service especially from the window/ door fitter Mark Houston. He and his assistant have just replaced all our windows and doors. I was particularly worried about our 6 pane bay window but Mark took it all in his stride. Hard working, professional and high quality workmanship. He left the house clean and tidy.
HHI provide an excellent range of products. Good advice available from the visiting rep Darren McKay who took his time to suggest and explain options without being pushy for a sale.
Overall we are very happy with the service.

I want to share my honest experience about HHI so others can make an informed decision and this review actually makes me feel somewhat guilty as there are so many other positive experiences listed here, but I haven't been treated fairly.

My initial dealing with HHI Castlereagh were friendly, positive and confident. Unfortunately, after a while this company were frustrating, stressful, and entirely unprofessional.

After waiting 7-8 months for my bathroom installation, and after repeatedly requesting a refund in a formal complaint, HHI initially refused to return my deposit and instead persistently tried to pressure me into proceeding with an installation I no longer wanted due to their repeated failures in service.

Key Issues I Faced:

Excessive Delays Without Proactive Communication:
• I waited 7-8 months for my bathroom, which is not a reasonable timeframe for any installation, I know 4-6 months had been outlined at the initial consultation which I accepted but having to then follow it up myself is not acceptable with no communication in that period.
• HHI did not provide proactive updates—the only time I received communication was when I chased them for answers.
• Under Section 28(3) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a company must complete a service within a reasonable timeframe, and if they fail to do so, the consumer has the right to cancel. (providing estimated installation dates does not give a company the right to fulfil their obligation whenever they choose)

Lack of Proper Information Before Signing the Contract:
• A reputable company should ensure a proper survey, final design, and confirmed price before asking a customer to sign a contract.
• Instead, I was asked to sign before these essential steps were completed, they said this was normal practice, they only did a survey many months later and this was when issues were identified.
• The company also failed to provide professional drawings, instead relying on hand-drawn sketches.

Refusal to Refund Until Pressure Was Applied:
• Despite repeatedly requesting a refund in my recent complaints, HHI refused and insisted on continuing with the installation, despite my clear objections. Did they think that with all this hassle I could possibly trust their installation?
• Under Section 28(6) of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a consumer is entitled to cancel and receive a refund if a service is not provided within a reasonable time.
• Only after I sought advice and escalated my complaint to Trading Standards did HHI finally agree to issue a refund.

Refund Issued Begrudgingly, Not as an Admission of Their Failures:
• Even when agreeing to a refund, HHI refused to acknowledge in their final communications any wrongdoing and instead framed it as a “goodwill gesture.”, despite admitting to failings in previous communications.
• Their exact words were:
“We will reluctantly issue a refund of your deposit as a goodwill gesture.”
• A refund in these circumstances is not goodwill—it is a legal right after a company has failed to deliver within a reasonable time.

Pressure to Proceed Despite Poor Service:
• Instead of offering an immediate refund, HHI persistently tried to push me into accepting an installation from a company that had already let me down. Why suddenly do you feel it's ok to proceed the week after a complaint, on your terms?
• Their approach raises serious concerns about customer treatment and ethical business practices.

- If you expect good communication, look elsewhere.
- If you want transparency before signing a contract, be cautious.
- If you don’t want to have to fight for your consumer rights, avoid them.

I strongly encourage potential customers to do their research before engaging with this company. If you experience similar issues, seek advice and know your consumer rights and do not be afraid to escalate matters (signing a contract doesn't mean you waiver any of your rights!). This installation with HHI was £15k+ for a nice bathroom in a 3 Bedroom Semi-Detatched. Since receiving my refund (eventually!), I have secured another installation with a different company for the same cost, but with a significantly higher specification and an installation date within a month—proving that the delays and issues I faced with HHI were completely avoidable.

I have no doubt HHI will try to defend how they dealt with this, but regardless, ultimately, their actions speak for themselves—no customer should have to fight this hard for fair treatment.

Would I trust HHI again? Absolutely not.

Excellent service from a young gentleman called Peter working in the trade section of the Lisburn branch. We unintentionally landed with him 5 minutes before close, he reassured us that there was no rush and he took time to help us get the products we needed. A very mannerly young man who really stands out from the crowd. If only there were more Peters!
Also a wee mention to Ross, we met him at the same place and even though he doesn’t work at this branch and he wasn’t even working that day, he helped us too! we were so impressed, and based on our experience, we would have no hesitation recommending this place.

I cannot recommend HHI Lisburn highly enough - especially the service of John Poots, Branch Manager. John is extremely professional, friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for him. We had previous work done on our window sills of which we were not happy with (prior to John's time at HHI) - John took time to understand our issues and went out of his way to resolve the problem and make it right. He was true to his word and gave us exceptional customer service. The joiner that fitted the new window sills did a great job and left the place immaculate. Very highly recommend HHI Lisburn.

If you need a new bathroom I can’t recommend HHI enough. They did a fantastic job. We visited the Bangor store and it was such a hassle free experience. Everyone was lovely. The workmen are all great and professional. The bathroom is beautiful. Thanks HHI

We recently had three bathrooms re- furbished by HHI and we couldn’t recommend them enough!!! We had sound advice from the beginning in regards to our choices and the workmanship was superb when it came to the installation. We also had our gutters and facia replaced by HHI and went on to get new pvc window sills installed. We would highly recommend HHI to anyone in the future - top class!

My kitchen had a complete refurb, work commenced on 4 November 24 and completed on 13 November 24.
I would highly recommend HHI they are very professional. I am very pleased with my kitchen.

My new bathroom provided by HHI in Castlereagh is outstanding. I found all the staff to be courteous, respectful and extremely professional. In particular, I would like to thank Gareth, Donna, Abbi and all the technicians who fitted the bathroom for their attention to detail. They listened to all my requirements which resulted in the creation of a gorgeous space that safely suits my needs. Also, a special mention to Emily in Newtownabbey HHI who was very supportive when I had to postpone the fitting of my bathroom due to illness. I would highly recommend HHI to anyone looking to improve their bathroom and I am delighted with the outcome.

Having a small bathroom, we knew we had to get creative to squeeze in everything we wanted. Other bathroom "specialists" told us it couldn't be done or to speak to a plumber, then we found HHI and Nicole.

Right from the get go she was able to set us on our journey to the bathroom of our dreams. Before we knew it, walls were coming down and doors were moving! Somehow (still not quite sure how she managed it), we fitted a luxury walk in shower, standalone bath and have ended up having more space than we did before!

I couldn't thank the team at HHI enough for not only the quality of their work, but also the quality of the team - everyone was a pleasure to deal with from Nicole, Darren, Neil, Dylan, Gerard, Thomas and Mike

Would highly recommend HHI for any bathroom or renovation projects, and will most definitively use them again!

Had a new bathroom meticulously planned by Michael in Lisburn HHI. Very pleased with the quality of everything and installation went exactly as scheduled.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! All the employees should be commended for their great customer service and how personable they were! The work was completed to the highest standard and I am absolutely delighted with every aspect!

Arranged for HHI to carryout a full kitchen and dining room refurb. From the start of design until completion it was fantastic. The design was what we wanted although a few small changes happened with this process, through to all the different trades coming to complete the work. All on time, job done and finished as expected and following their work sheet. Couldn't have been anymore professional.

Hi, to keep a long story short [Spandau ballet reference]. I had my bathroom installed 10 months ago. It developed a leak between the wall panels and the bath, witch i later found out was called Flexi seal. I spoke to the manager of the Bangor branch and within a week it was fixed. So praise all round to Colin Patterson, Emily Young. and the man who carried out the repair. A good job all round.

HHI Newtownabbey - Fascia, gutters and soffit fitting.

Giving 5 stars as we had two fitters (Jamie and Carter) come out on Friday (27th Sept) and put in a solid 12 hour shift to ensure our fascia, soffit and gutters where completed to a high standard.

The sales pitch was great, as you would expect from a sales rep. However, we knew HHI have great quality product and knew they would complete the job to a high standard.

The team at the Newtownabbey branch have been very cooperative throughout our process; from deposit paid to final fitting. Any questions, queries or concerns we had were dealt by the branch manager, Matthew, with immediate response and the utmost professionalism.

Fantastic fitting by Jamie and Carter and great communication from Matthew.
