The positive enthusiasm of our captain Sebastian totally transformed our afternoon 2 hour cruise with Hey Captain. Go!! Even it’s raining. Sebastian will make you laugh and reflect on what a joy it is to be on the water in Copenhagen.

From the booking to the service delivery and Knowledge of Lars our captain, this is absolutely the best boat tour to take whist in beautiful Copenhagen.

Lars made us feel part of the family of this exemplary company. Lars was able to be super kind and friendly however consolidated this tour with his expert knowledge of the waters.

Jeg havde inviteret min søn og barnebarn, på tur med Hey Captains.
De bor ikke i Danmark, men var vildt begejstret, ikke mindst fordi vores “ Captain” bare var perfekt og super proff men stadig formåede at give alle en personlig behandling.
Sådan en time slår alle de andre kanalrundture👍

Nowhere on the page's FAQ or in the order confirmation, does it mention anything about cancellation terms or refunds.
So when my plans changed, I assumed they had none.
But... they do. They refused to give a refund, but offered me to sail another day - I don't live in Copenhagen. So it's basically useless.

They said that in the link to terms and conditions, they have informed about this. They know no one ever reads it. Instead of giving this information clearly when booking. Any other company in Denmark is required to give those terms clearly written on the ordering page and gets fined for hiding it - eg phone companys, supermarkets etc.

I asked if a bad trustpilot review was worth 400 DKK for them - She said "yes, my bosses think so".

Then the manager of the day calls. Spending 10 minutes basically saying the same thing. He says it's not normally a problem and I say "well, then there is no reason not to give the refund as a service" - then he compares it to an airline... Airlines also get fined in Denmark for hiding information like this in the terms box link. He then wants me to write an email about it - I tell him he can read it on trustpilot.
Social sailing? Fun? With these people? Nope.

Jeg sad ved Christianshavn i går, da en Hey Captain-båd kom forbi. En ansat på kajen kastede noget at drikke i plastikflasker ned til båden. Uheldigvis greb kaptajnen ikke en flaske som røg i vandet. Selvom den flød gjorde hverken den ansatte på kajen eller dem i båden noget for at samle flasken op. Da jeg bad dem gøre det, sagde kaptajnen blot at han ikke kunne overskue det på grund af de andre både... han ville ikke bruge de få sekunder det måtte kræve. Det virkede mest af alt som om han ikke ville tabe ansigt ved at samle sit eget affald op(?). Da han derefter sejlede væk var min afslutningsreplik at jeg ville give en anmeldelse hvis ikke han gjorde det ... hans ignoration af mig -> voila! - én elendig stjerne til milljøsvin fra Hey captain

If you prefer a smaller more intimate tour that provides a personal experience you will not forget than I would definitely recommend Hey Captain. They have small boats that accommodate up to 12 people I believe (I believe you can rent the whole boat as well) which is a perfect size for an interactive tour which is what they provide. The entire staff that greeted us at the dock were fantastic and everyone said good morning or began a conversation with you. I think there were a total of 7 people on our tour and very comfortable. They provided blankets as it was a bit chilly and a top should it rain. They also offered beverages such as wine, beer, and soda which was great! Our captain was Sebastian (aka SeaBass) who was GREAT. Very informative with many many facts, history and information on the structures, buildings, boats and ships, etc. He was very interactive with all of our group and remembered all our names and origins. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the time on the canals. We also took a large boat canal tour the next day and while it was nice and informative, it was a recording of the information and not nearly as informative. For an excellent tour we would recommend Hey Captain.

Mulled wine, comfy seating, small and cozy, AND a super knowledgeable young Captain, Camillo - super experience on a very cold December canal cruise. BUT a very warm and fun experience, can highly recommend it when they re-open. Also went to see Camillo's very talented photo exhibition at TAARNET, fantastic and inspirational.

Fantastisk tur rundt i Københavns havn, med en utrolig sød Kaptajn, der kunne en masse gode røverhistorier.

Virkelig god tur rundt i Københavns kanaler. Sjovt både for lokale og turister. Turen inkluderer vin, øl og sodavand. Da der max kan være 12 personer er turen meget mere personlig og hyggelig end de andre typiske turistbådture. Virkeligt dygtige og søde guider. Værdi for pengene!

Fantastisk tur rundt i Københavns Kanaler med tæpper, gløgg, små lanterner og et oplagt mandskab. Tak for en fantastisk tur i forbindelse med vores firmajulefrokost. Vi har ikke en eneste finger at sætte på noget som helst. Vi kan alle 17 give de varmeste anbefalinger.
