Hertz - West Covina - East Garvey South Omdömen 

The car needed a transmission oil change. Also all the tire pressure lights were on when I got to my destination. When I rented the car 5 days prior to my trip I asked for a Nissan and I got a Kia

The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful, but unfortunately, the location appears to be understaffed, resulting in long wait times. Both the check-in and check-out processes can take approximately 30–40 minutes, which is frustrating and inconvenient.

The vehicle I received also had some issues and did not drive properly. It seemed like it might need an oil change or maintenance. Additionally, the gas tank was not full when I picked up the vehicle, even though I was expected to return it with a full tank.

Another downside is the deposit, which is quite expensive at around $500.

Overall, the staff provides good customer service, but Hertz needs to improve staffing, reduce wait times, ensure vehicles are properly maintained, and make sure fuel levels are accurate at pickup. These improvements would make the rental experience much better.

My rental was ready for pickup, clean inside and out. The service agent was courteous and prompt.
Looking forward to my next rental with Hertz.

The highlight of this branch is the manager, Chris! I have been to this location multiple times because of him. He's responsible, works extra to ensure that the reserved vehicle is ready. He does everything literally! I have seen him check in/out customers, move cars around, and even wash and clean the cars! He responds well to unreasonable customers. Always professional and pleasant!

Received the car I wanted and had a wonderful trip.

This was the first time I had a hybrid automobile. Was so pleasantly surprised by the great gas Milage outcome.
My only comment was how long it took to get my car rental (over 45 minutes from when I arrived at the set reserved time). I understand that an employee in that office was no longer there….,.and another one was on vacation. Maybe recruitment from another Hertz office would have been beneficial for myself and the many other renters waiting for their car as well.

One employee working so it took almost two hours to get my car and no access to a restroom. I did not get a car anything like I had reserved a month prior and the one I got was dirty with zero car mats and the oil change light on our entire trip. I will not be using Hertz again nor will I recommend them to friends. Why reserve anything when they just give you whatever and take forever to do that?
