Got a good rate for same day rental for a week.
However, car was not what I expected and reeked of cigarette smoke. Barry offered to replace the vehicle the next day and a courtesy credit when he got other cars back.
Girl who brought me the car said if I needed to extend the rental to do so online so that I received the same rate. However, when I tried to do that the 1 extra day was about $15 more per day than the other seven days. Overall, a good experience with them trying to make up for the discrepancies. The only real lingering issue was that what the girl said about getting the same daily rate for extending the rental was not true.

The car was fine. The representative at pick up could care less about her job and it reflected poorly on Hertz. She was not kind. She had a sour look on her face the entire time. She spoke softly and when I asked her to repeat something she glared at me. Upon drop off, it was a very easy process. However, somehow, I was charged extra for no reason. It seems like your company does that nickel and diamond people because they won’t fight back. Well, I looked at the bill and I fought back. I got the money that was totally due to me instead of you guys just just trying to gouge every penny out of the customer.
