It took me almost 2 hours to pick up my car and I had only 2 people ahead of me. Such a waste of time will never book with hertz again.

Given an EV with no option to change
Booked 9 months in advance and they gave me an EV, which I have never gotten before and is a terrible choice for anyone traveling any meaningful distance. Having to charge the vehicle added 4+ hours to my entire trip than I would have had with a gasoline vehicle. They were not helpful in accommodating any changes to this selection, a pure play to upcharge loyal customers who planned ahead accordingly. This type of vehicle should be reserved for those who specifically request them, and definitely shouldn't be a choice at rental locations in large cities where people tend to rent vehicles to leave the city.

My drivers license had expired and I…
My drivers license had expired and I had the paperwork to show they were mailing me a new one (the temporary paper they give you). Even though you had rented me a car 4 days ago with the same paperwork this time you refused and all of my plans have had to be cancelled costing me $$$ in hotel and cancellation fees. I am really disappointed.

Pick up location locked up early
When I arrived at the location to pick up my rental car the door was locked and there was a sign that said this location closed early any I had to go to a different location to pick up my car. I didn’t receive a courtesy call or email or anything to let me know about the change. I had to take an uber to the other location which cost about $30 and put me an hour behind schedule.
