Hertz gives me the ability to use various locations to accommodate my travel plans. Good service at both pickup and drop off.

I had a great experience with this location the tall gentleman took really good care of me,even was able to get me into a different vehicle when my first option was fit for my family needs.

Unfair/hidden toll activation practives

The car was not ready on time, the wait was over 45 minutes as they had to find a car and clean it.

At the time of rental I turned down a subscription to tolls through your third party. I was not informed that opening the transponder would enroll me in a daily program as opposed to charging me for individual tolls and a small service charge. I was charged over 700.00 and used the transponder one day (maybe two.)

Competitive rates

Most of the time I get a rate that is very competitive. Also the staff at Paxton Street Harrisburg PA is very friendly

Teach your employees to pay attention to what they're doing

When I got there 15 minutes early to get my car, I expected to wait in line which is why I got there early. Unfortunately the person behind the counter didn't notice that he had printed out my contract for a completely different customer earlier that day. So after a near emotional breakdown (him not me) and lots of help from two whole other employees, I finally got going 30 minutes AFTER my rental pickup time. I had to postpone an important dinner meeting because I was made late by someone else's incompetence. I have spent thousands of dollars with this company and now one employee cost me a missed business opportunity. Then to be charged $135 to extend it one day after that experience is just hateful. Bring back the York PA office please!
