Signed up to be a gold+ member so my client could have a truck as requested and when my client arrived to pick up, was told it was not available and was for a fleet company that had top priority. Another young gentleman walked in and asked for truck but was told it was reserved for someone ahead of him. Once my client agreed to a different vehicle that wasn’t even ready they gave the truck to the young man that walked in AFTER my client. My client was now over a hour late due to this and then the employee tried to cover their trail and didn’t offer any discounts or solutions as to why this happened.

Check in and check out was fast and…
Check in and check out was fast and easy, they did not have the car I wanted but I was upgraded to a small suv. At the time I was told it would be $10 more but in the end I was not charged the extra fee. Hertz has always been a great place for me to rent a vehicle and I will continue renting there in the future.

Be careful
I made a reservation on Saturday 8/29 and paid for the vehicle. I went to pick up the car on 8/31 and was told by Mike Vidal there was a problem with the reservation and I would have to create a new one. Well the car rate on the original reservation was $35.00 per day, the rate for the same vehicle was now $88.98 per day. Classic bait and switch. Good one Hertz
