Excellent Customer Service and plant quality
We ordered a large number of mixed bareroot plants, hawthorn, blackthorn, dog rose, spindle, guelder rose, hazel, along with holly and pyracantha which were in pots and some chestnut trees. We are very impressed with the quality of the plants and the customer service was excellent, the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We asked for the delivery to be delayed due to work commitments and they were very accommodating and delivered when asked.

Spot on service
I ordered 60 Hornbeam hedglings of 80-100cm. The plants were arranged to be sent the next day, so very happy with how fast they processed my order.
Although there was a small problem with the delivery company not turning up when they were supposed to, the customer service in offering to resolve the problem was brilliant. Noting the problem they did not make excuses and offered to replace any plants that did not survive the transit owing to the delay of the delivery company.
I was happy to find that all plants seem to be alive and well so I did not have to take them up on their offer.
I can say that I was happy with all things that matter, and the product itself, the speed of processing the order and the customer service post order. I would happily recommend the company.

Poor delivery service with unhelpful driver.
Good ooking plants well packaged. Surley unhelpfull delivery driver lets the company down. Dumped the package completely blocking my vehicular access. I was home but he didnt knock door to ask where to leave delivery. When asked to move them he claimed his truck was broken. Liar. Surprised he has lasted in the job.

Svar från Hedge Nursery Ltd
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
We’re very pleased to hear that you were happy with the quality of the plants and the way they were packaged — that’s something our nursery team work very hard to get right, so your comments on this are genuinely appreciated.
We’re sorry, however, to read about your delivery experience. As an online retailer shipping plants nationwide each day, we partner with Parcelforce to provide a fast, 24-hour delivery service across the UK. In the vast majority of cases, this works extremely well, but as you’ve highlighted, delivery ultimately depends on individual drivers, and on this occasion, the service you received fell short of the standards we expect for our customers.
Packages should never be left in a way that blocks access, particularly when someone is at home to advise on a safe place to leave them. We completely understand your frustration.
We will pass your feedback directly to Parcelforce for review by the local depot responsible for the delivery. Feedback like this is important in helping prevent similar issues in future.
Thank you again for your order and for bringing this to our attention.
Kind regards,
Hedge Nursery Customer Care Team

The costs were excellent
The costs were excellent, the delivery swift, and the plants appeared robust and vibrant. The ordering process was straightforward, offering ample useful advice. This is our second order as we're continuing to fill in spaces in our newly established hedge. The initial set has thrived splendidly and has been welcomed by both ourselves and the surrounding wildlife.
