This can be difficult for all family members to get into via CHM
We did have a terrible time getting back into the app after our young adult family member had our 1st appointment with this new telehealth company - and now we can't get in. We first emailed about this last night, and received no response. The first people we talked to today at tech support couldn't help, either - new email acounts, logging out, etc, wouldn't work either....and I'm not feeling well....maybe tomorrow!
Nice idea, otherwise...and we did like the first physician we talked to. BUT we had to ask for assistance getting into that as well - and we're fairly tech oriented.
So, we appreciate this service, everyone we talked to was nice, but LOTs of troubling getting into it, despite tech experience.

I’ve only asked general questions and the answers I got were from doctors in specialties not related at all. It dawned on me after reading my second answer that this just isn’t reliable. Your question is limited to 250 characters. You ask, get an answer, and done. Where is dialogue? Clarification of question? I just deep down can’t trust the answers or doctors.
Terrible service
Terrible service. It can be good, if you get a good doctor, but that's the trick. You can wait for hours and sometimes when you finally get someone, it's a Dr. that is hard to understand or trust.
Appts Automatically End at 15 min
My doctor was lovely but paying $130 for a visit that will literally cut you and the doctor off automatically at the 15 min mark is absolutely awful. She apologized profusely and warned me it was going to cut us off but I never would’ve seen her to begin with had I know this was how this platform worked.
Online doctors
Online doctors. I have soon to be had a subscription. My Mother in law visits every year. So I use this company to prescribe a blood pressure medication that she has been taking for years. She is 79. The doctor that we have always talked to was extremely pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately she has left the company. But I still pay the fees. Fast forward till today, she has an abscess tooth. I sent a text and waited for a response. I got the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Sara Vander Pol. She informed me that she had no clue who my Mother in law is. And even though I paid the subscription we would have to start over again. I asked if she had access to the notes on the account and she never answered. I canceled my subscription. At the end of the day this is a total scam.
good doctors but deceptive pricing.
I liked the doctor on health Tap my issue is with the app and the deceptive advertising. Frist of all they don't actually take any insurance but tell you to pay for your visit first while they bill you insurance but never actually bill you insurance so you can't even get credit for your deductible or out of pockets expenses. there is not way to send you health records to another provider. its either pay 129 for 10munites or 44+59 every 3 months to get regular primary care. if you don't have insurance its fine but if you do just go to a regular dr office.

I was being charged $15 a month for a…
I was being charged $15 a month for a service I didn't recognize. I got got extremely angry like what the heck is this charge. I ended up going to their website, and writing to them to find out what the charge was that showed up on my bank statement and to stop it. Turns out I had signed up for the service a while back with my old email address. Didn't even think to look there.
Anyways. Long story short, not only did they let me know about the charge under my old email address and cancelled it right away, they refunded me all 3 months of charges back to the signup date without me asking and it was immediate. I don't really know too much about their services as I signed up and never used them and forgot about it, but my customer support experience with Carla Gross was one of the best ones ever, absolutely top notch. I wasn't even expecting a refund I just wanted to stop the bleeding. I rarely do these reviews, especially for good commenting, but I had to on this one. Fantastic job HealthTap, especially Carla!!! A++
he hospital kick me out on isulin and…
The hospital kick me out on insulin and heart drugs to follow up with my pcp which I didn't have.so I chose healthtap. Explain my situation to 2 differant doctors. They did basic blood work and my numbers were all good but my sugar kept bottoming out. My a1c after 3 months was at 5.5 yet I'm still a type 1 diabetic? So I canceled my subscription because for 1 year 2 of your Doctors wouldn't address the questions of how a 57 year old with numbers like I have is type 1 diabetic. The answer is there is no way I could be type1 without an underlying condition. Which they should have known and tested for but didn't. All both doctors did is look at the bad numbers on my blood work and add prescriptions. So I've been using insulin needlessly for a year because they failed as Doctors. When I tried to communicate with my latest Doctor on Heathtap about concerns he just completely ignored me. Now heathtap won't let me talk to anyone. Went to them for guidance on hypertension and diabetes pre-diabetes. My fasting blood sugar is 100 or less and never spikes after being off insulin for 7days and my BP is 120/80. No thanks to heathtap. Pill pushers

Honestly, terrible. No clue how "I" got signed up for this. I've never used it and have no records of signing up in any of my email accounts. Hopefully the company will give me information on who is using my debit card with them!!
Scam!
Scam!! I was charged for the membership to nothing, but somehow there was a problem with my payment to see a doctor. I immediately cancelled my subscription and filled a complaint with my bank. This is not a health service but a parasite of the health service. Avoid this at all cost! And call your bank to put a stop payment t immediately!
Health tap is a tentacle
Health tap is a tentacle of the healthcare and health insurance industrial complex. At some point - perhaps a few decades ago -medical professionals in all areas of healthcare decided to throw out the Hippocratic Oath and replace it with their lust for higher incomes declaring conditions to be worse than they really are, which, of course, means more treatment and more income. I tried Health Tap just to see if it confirmed the conclusions I’ve stated above - conclusions I’ve come to from my own horrific experiences with doctors and hospitals over several decades. What the one star and two star reviews are saying is true. The advice that is given by the doctors is cursory and isn’t something that one can’t find on their own by doing an internet search on symptoms. and I’m not surprised that they are being over billed, and/or double billed, etc. etc. Also, the price that customers are paying for this cursory advice is atrocious. Those who know the reality of our “ modern“ healthcare, and health insurance system shouldn’t be surprised at the lack of ethics that is ubiquitous in these institutions or that they would move online as an easier way to make good money, without really doing much, if any, for many people, and make a bundle doing it.
Sure enough, after explaining what I will call a “female problem” to one of Health Tap’s doctors I was simply told that I should go see a doctor in person. It wasn’t a condition that I needed to see a doctor about. So I realized that this is one trick that is used by some doctors in the network, believing that everyone that calls in for advice is ignorant, So without much concern to what subscribers are referring to why not simply tell them to do that (go see a real doctor in person). On the surface, perfectly legal, but in reality, unethical, because the telehealth visit was extremely short and Health Tap got their fee upfront. So after the consultation I immediately canceled my membership. If one looks very carefully at the wording of the various reviews on Trust Pilot, they will see that the one and two star reviews are very detailed in relating their experiences, and they seem to have for the most part, a common theme and an angry tone. The five star reviews are all bright and cheery. And, frankly, I believe very few of those glowing reviews aren’t fake. Another thing to take notice of is Health Tap’s responses to the negative reviews. With one or two exceptions they are all pretty much the same: “We are very sorry that you had such a negative experience. Please contact us” and so on and so forth. Those responses from Healthtap in my opinion are just as fake as most of the positive reviews. The movement by the healthcare industry to jump on the telehealth bandwagon is ginormous. Health tap could be more honestly named WEALTH TAP.

They are dishonest, misleading and shady about charges for visits. The billing office will not contact you for months after the appointment, charge you over double what you paid for the initial appointment unbeknownst to you (and in addition to your original payment), tell you that it's paid in full and then wait another month to hit you with another random charge for the same appointment and then assure you this time it is really paid in full and please believe them. They continue to send letters about the same charges and appointment after promising that you will not be receiving anything else. The billing office is rude and lack basic competence or empathy with callers. It is like being with a narcissistic partner. They are enraged that you are enraged at their treatment of you. You spend hours on the phone, are hung up on, cut off mid-sentence without any communication and put on endless holds. Trust me, the initial convenience might be tempting but you will literally be paying triple what you would pay anywhere else and be paying on one appointment for the next year because they lack efficiency or common sense.

This is a scam, charged my account $80 and no service or call. Customer service is non existent.
It was fast and easy
It was fast and easy, got exactly what my mom needed, an antibiotic and she is uninsured. I was afraid it was a scam at first especially after reading the reviews but I had the prescription sent in in less than 1 hour!
