The staff are helpful and competent
The staff are helpful and competent..I wanted to book a flight and hotel in Almaty Kazakhstan next April to visit my girlfriend and family.As an ex seaman Im used to travelling and this experience gives me insight to get things right..The one thing I learned being at sea 35 years is to be extremely organized..Travelling to a non conventional destination can be a nightmare especially booking independently so it made sense to book through an agent..My 1st mission was to select a few agencies and read reviews..Hays were instantly the outstanding option..So I called my local outlet..Yes it would no doubt be a better option to go to store in person..However for personal reasons it was preferable to phone them.
I gave a brief insight of my requirements and knowing the difficulties of travelling to Kazakhstan can create I thought the agents would need some days to research my request...So I was quite surprised when I got an email 3 hours later with a couple of quotes..
They had managed to get seats with my specified airline Air Astana and a choice of 2 hotels close to where my girlfriend lives and works which is directly in Central Almaty..Even the dates were as requested..
I also chose to use an Agent so I could pay a deposit and direct debit installments..This was an easy process and far better than trying to find £1400 outright if paying direct..
Also using a reputable agent gives a sense of security..ATOL protection..but more importantly knowing that their knowledge will be essential in the finer details..
Everyone I have spoken to at the agency has been polite and respectul and very helpful..They call back if they are busy or need time to collate information.If i have any questions they are more than happy to answer them and willing to find out when they arent sure..
Now I gave 4 stars...You might wonder why?I simply cannot give a 5*..I havent had my trip yet...lets wait til next April to see eh..Thanks to all the staff at Milton Keynes branch..especially Tanveer..I told you i would be a pain in the butt with questions..and yes you take it in good faith...
