we called in the hillsborough branch to…
we called in the hillsborough branch to book a holiday we were shown one in tenerife which we booked however on getting home and reading about people being robbed in the hotel we decided to change it .we then booked another place and told it was150£cheaper .when we got home we found we could have booked it ourselves for nearly 400£ less we expected a better service having booked numerous holidays with hays anyway once bitten as they say .

Thank you for your feedback. I can understand you wanting to change the holiday after reading some bad reviews and we will always do everything in our power to help you with this. I think there was a little bit of confusion here. Leah has discounted the new holiday as a gesture of goodwill and to match the on line Jet2 price after we made the change. We never beat the on line price in store only match it and it is my understanding is that this is what Leah has done for you. In this case the total cost of the holiday is less than £2000 so the difference between the store and on line cost would have been between £150 on £200 total and not as high as £400. I know that we have booked your holidays a few times in the past and I hope that you have always been happy with our service and prices. I note that we are going to help in store with your check in and print all your documents as part of our service. Unfortunately we don't check the on line prices in store but will always do our best to match if the need arises. Plus the tour operator systems are live prices and we cannot control this. We have even had occasions where a price has increased during the booking process. I feel in this case we have done everything we could to assist in changing your holiday and matching the price you were happy with at the time of booking. I would be grateful if you can change the trust pilot score and base it on the service you received and not on Jet2's pricing system. Thanks Richard
