Having well planned for an early prescription, due to holidays, the pharmacy was unable to complete and dispense all medicines as 1 was not in stock!...i rang and spoke to Victoria, at the Haxby group, explained i had sourced another supply from another pharmacy, she sorted a new script for me quickly..very helpful and professional. Dr Brock has been very supportive and helpful too. A great service.

Sometimes difficult to initially get an appointment but once you are in the system with your medical problem I would say the patient care is excellent. The doctors do everything they can to help you with your problem - thank you Dr Gilmore
The main problem I have found is incorrect information being input from the initial call to the ‘fully trained call handler’ This is then triaged to a duty doctor who is expected to make a decision on the basis of records input incorrectly. I also think too many people are involved in actioning a decision. The system itself I think is not fit for purpose. As far as the GPs are concerned once you do get to see them or receive a phone call most of them listen and take notice of your query and are very helpful. I agree with everything another reviewer has said about Dr Pickard he is patient, courteous and listens to you, and his recording on your notes are 100% correct.
I have left this useless bunch of could not care less so called GP's after 49years

I wont lie, York Region phone service was great. Chemone (I only know her name because of how personal she is), was an absolute wonder for me today. Came to ring about difficulties mentally and she truly was so genuine, even when she wasn’t obliged to - meant a lot to me Truly changed a perspective in my subconscious mind. Really appreciated and she deserves a lot of credit for that as I have spoken to a wide range of clinics regarding mental health to no avail.
I think that the doctors at this surgery are exceptionally good and very efficient. !!! Especially Doctor Mark Pickard. He is very professional and understanding, has remarkable knowledge and is very helpful and polite. He has helped me through my various conditions of prostate problems, Oab, Spinal difficulties and severe Arthritis to name but a few and I have every faith in him and his surgery. !!!
It took me a whole lifetime to acknowledge and open up about my long term mental impairment just to be left absolutely in limbo for almost two years. I had to contact them again? They said they will refer me to a mental health team and nothing has happened.

Have been excellent and worked with my hospital consultant to deliver the best treatment possible

Really bad service. I've been waiting three days for you to say my request is closed? I did register with you last year and saw one of your doctors. Without a doubt I will be leaving scathing online reviews now and finding another doctor as I'm quite unwell.
