Disappointing, to the least

Two months ago I had over my studio flat Katie the manager and Sophie the evaluator and ass.manager from Harvey Robinson in St Ives for my possible selling of my property
For my request of selling my studio flat Harvey Robinson the fee was £3250 plus VAT. In a way asking the 2% of my selling flat plus 20% VAT. Last Tuesday I pop in the branch looking to review the fee Sophie it would le me know by email and so evening time I received a poorly written email that Harvey R. works for a minimum fee and I asked myself what is the minimum fee only when the day after 5th November so last Wednesday speaking with Corrinne the sales negotiator pointed out that the minimum fee for selling is £3000. If I had known that the minimum fee was £3000 pounds I would not contact Harvey Robinson in the first place for selling my studio flat, not only if the plot is undervalued as it was prospected, you still pay the same amount of fee.

Now what it makes and how was calculated from the minimum fee of £3000 to the previous £ 3250 fee presented to me it is something making wondering.
It seems that Harvey Robinson is calculating the fee depending on your property, smaller it can be higher is the fee or vice versa, taking present that lucky the 95% of estate agents are taking 1,25 or 1,35% plus vat and you pay the percentage for the amount of selling property. At the end the marketing and publicity are the same, so nothing different from Harvey Robinson just a little more in return as you can save a lot from their minimum fee.
Who is losing or gaining clearly if the property is undervalued or overvalued for a studio flat the minimum difference it can be irrelevant, but a bad evaluation for a big selling fee for a bigger property it can make a substantial change.

What I like to see from H.R. a better communication you are not selling door to door cornering the customer with lacking of real effective information and a better knowledge of percentage of yield or estimate it would not bad to know.
It is the second time I have to encounter unfair behavior from another agent clearly needed change I will answer of any your reply I do feel the way you came to my house was a mis- leading ones involuntarily or not it is not the way.

Having dealt with Harvey Robinson on a number of occasions over the last few years, where they led us down a very professional path and moves, we needed a valuation on our current property. Sophie Taylor was very happy to do this and spent a considerable amount of time researching properties as similar as she could find to give us a realistic valuation. She also spent time in assessing the properties strengths during her visit, and we are grateful to her for time, efforts and professionalism.

The team at St Ives are exemplary - especially Sophie and Chloe. Nothing, but nothing, is too much bother. At age 81 making a move is quite traumatic but they have been Professional, friendly and patient all the way through. Why can all Estate Agents been so lovely to deal with ?

The worse state agency in St neots I am a cash buyer could not attend a view cos my son was ill they turn down show me any properties because I didn't go to the view. If vendors know they turn down cash buyers I am here to.make everyone aware

Really bad experience with this agent. The house I purchased was in a much worse state when I moved in to how it looked when I viewed. There were numerous, quite serious issues with it, but the agent couldn't care less. They were happy to cover up these problems to sell the property and then pretend they knew nothing about them.

Absolutely exceptional service, at every stage of my property sale. Kept me fully informed at all times. Gave honest and timely feedback following each viewing. Provided regular updates during the marketing, sale and completion stages. I was 100% confident that my property was being actively marketed, through multiple channels at all times. Honestly, I couldn’t be more pleased with their performance.

What a mickey mouse operation, these agents couldn't navigate their way out of a paper bag, let alone navigate their way through the complexities of a property transaction. DO NOT USE their recommended solicitors, absolutely appalling and Harvey Robinson couldn't even get in contact with them on the day of completion, what a joke!

These guys. They get rid of the negativity in estate agents. Friendly, trustworthy and there for every step of a very stressful event in your life. Big Mike set me up with his team. He was with us every step of the way.

Whilst 2 other well known estate agents locally failed to sell our property, HR did exactly what they said they would do, Use their superior knowledge of the Biggleswade area to get us a sale.

All the staff were great, but Sophie is a name that stood out for us time and time again. she never let us down once, and throughout the whole process, we were let down a lot from other third parties.
she is an absolute credit to the company and I would have no hesitancy at recommending not just HR, but her to anyone. she clearly cares about the job at hand and constantly makes you feel like you are the only client she has to deal with.

I cannot thank Sophie enough for the service she provided, We would not be where we are now without her.

Harvey Robinson Lettings manage 2 properties for us and I couldn't praise them more highly. They're efficient, courteous, get back to you when they say they will. They make being a landlord easy and I also get the sense they do right by tenants too.
We also bought a property through them (which is why we used them for lettings) and that experience was really positive too.
