Excellent experience with H&W, especially with Megan. She made the whole process very quick and easy. Remained professional and great communication throughout. Would recommend !

Hi,

Its very strange that such agency has such a good review. I would not recommend this agency and there are various reasons. One they are rude to their customers and care only about incomes they get from you. Second they pretend to be nice until its worthy to get anything from you. Thirdly, they cause stress and dont take responsibilities to their customers, they just want you to rent from them and pay rent, and leave them alone for anything. And lastly, they dont behave in professional manner and as in previous review mentioned, i would mention Rachel as well. She is the queen of everything written above.

I recently moved into a flat and I had Megan to do checks etc. She was just amazing…helpful, friendly yet professional. Nothing was too much for her and she made the whole experience stress free. Thank you Megan

Jess my sales progressor has been amazing. She has kept me updated all the way through my sale and was so on the ball with solicitors and other agents. Nothing was too much for her, she was always there on the end of the phone to reassure me and make this process easier She is an asset to your company

I worked with this Harris Wood Colchester when I moved and I want to single out one person who helped me a lot with all the paperwork and all the issues related to the rent. Megan Power is a professional in her field, a very friendly and nice person, she helped me with all the questions and I am very satisfied with her help. Thank you very much)))

I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Connor from Harris & Wood in Colchester, and I cannot recommend him highly enough as a letting manager. After a significant incident at our Bardfield Road house, Connor stepped in and provided unwavering support at every stage.

From the moment the issue arose, he was proactive in addressing our concerns. He arranged for multiple plumbing companies to tackle the extreme hot water problem, ensuring it was resolved quickly and efficiently. What impressed me the most was his dedication to finding alternative housing for us during this challenging time.

Connor's commitment went above and beyond. He was always available to answer our questions, whether it was day or night, and even while he was on holiday. His responsiveness and genuine care made a stressful situation much more manageable.

In a world where customer service can sometimes fall short, Connor truly stands out as a remarkable professional. He is not only highly skilled but also an incredibly good person who genuinely cares about his clients. Thank you, Connor, for all your help!

This is the second time Harris + Wood have sorted my property sales in 10 years. They keep getting better. It's a testament to the amazing team they have assembled.

Marcus truly went above and beyond to negotiate and conclude a very tricky chain. Even the seller's own agent was impressed by Marcus and his business acumen. 👏

Best estate agents I have ever come across.

Having chosen Harris+Wood out of a few estate agents I believe I made the right decision. Elliot and Marcus have been so helpful along the way and made it a trouble free process. I would use them again and recommend them.

I am looking to buy in Brightlingsea. Luke,James and Laura have all been very helpful. I have felt that I have been treated like an individual and not on a conveyor belt. Well done.

We sold our property through Harris and Wood. The sale was completed on 2nd August 2024, We had a great experience and would recommend the company as well as all the colleagues that we dealt with. Marcus Jarman, in particular went above and beyond and was super helpful and always ready to go the extra mile. Harris and Wood's service is really professional but also ultra modern. We loved the enthusiasm and speedy actions taken right from the start of the selling process all the way through to completion. We have already recommended Harris and Wood to friends (who are currently using them to sell their house and purchase a new property) and will definitely do so again in the future.

Harrison was so helpful and quick in responding. Everything went through very smoothly. All staff very helpful.

Marcus made all the difference to a very difficult sales process owing to various issues on the buyers legal side, he stepped up & hand held the entire process to enable a successful resolution, well done Marcus & H&W great result!!

Megan Power at the Colchester office has been extremely helpful, both during the application process and also during move-in and some very minor snagging. She responds really quickly and is professional and courteous. I'd say she is a really great asset for Harris & Wood and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone that they should use this company.
