Happicabs - Essex Taxi Service Omdömen 

Kept being sent messages saying they'll let us know when it's on its way but it never came.
Called them and they admitted it wouldn't be there for more than 30mins, well after our restaurant booking so we had to cancel. It was a special event

Glen was on time, friendly, professional and got me to my destination in good time.

On Tuesday I booked a cab leaving 50 minutes for a 25 minute journey. Half hour after the pick up time, the cab hadn't arrived, and was still "5 to 10 minutes away". At that point it was impossible to make it in time and so I cancelled.

Happicabs charged me anyway. I contacted them online, to which they said they would respond in 24 hours. Nothing. After 48 I contacted them again. They said that they'd refer the case to their Finance department and once again nothing. No contact. No refund.

Posting this online in the hope that someone will see this and actually do something.

Arrived on time but taxi was incredibly dirty inside, like what should be black was caked in brown dirt and dust, had an odour that led me to spend 15 minutes feeling sick in the toilet when arriving at my destination and driver was texting whilst driving throughout ride. Only reason it’s not 1 star is the punctuality and friendliness of the driver, but the standards really need to be improved.

Friendly and courteous driver to transport my wife with crutches to hospital.

Drove carefully and arrived in good time.

Driver Aaron was very helpful.. he drop off me to stansted and pick me up.. even though my flight delayed he still waited for me which was life saver.. i will use happicup next time i am traveling and would recommend happicup to everyone

Driver was in time very polite and friendly .

The taxi was pre-booked several days in advance, but arrived nearly 40minutes late.
Due to the time of night, the venue closed and so we had to wait outside in the rain.
Whenever I phoned the office I was told it would be 5minutes, yet it never was.
The only reason given by office staff and the driver for the lateness, was that it was a “busy night”. I don’t understand why bookings are accepted if they cannot be fulfilled. Do not accept bookings if you know you do not have enough drivers.

Taxi's booked to pick up at 19:00 and collect at 23:15.

19:00 pick up was a NO show, called up and was advised driver was 4 minutes away. Still nothing at 19:25 so drove and sent text cancelling pick up. Arrived at venue and at 19:45 got a call from driver to say he was at my house. Explained I had cancelled and he apologised but told me he was only allocated the pick up at 19:25!!!

Sent text to cancel 23:15 pick up as no longer needed. Received multiple missed calls from driver at 23:00 to say he was outside. Left venue to tell him I had cancelled and showed him text.

Got another test to confirm cancellation but due to me being a No show!! Liars.

Utterly useless and will never use again.

UPDATE

It seems the "stock" reply to bad reviews is "we've sent you a request for further details". No. They have not. Absolute rubbish.

And by the way, if you use text to confirm booking you should be able to accept them back. I tried calling to cancel and was in a queue for 20 minutes and then gave up.

DO NOT USE THIS TAXI FIRM.

There was a miscommunication around collection address, by 0.2 mile, spoke to the driver on the phone said no problem. When he arrived to collect me and my young daughter, he said I had to pay extra for the fare I offered to add it to my prebooked transaction and he said I had to pay cash or he refused the journey and I had to rebook. Seem illogical that I couldn't pay the firm the extra as a posed to having to pay him cash in hand

Message saying driver was on his way, could see the car and was able to come out of the house and lock my front door in a timely manner.

Cab was clean and the driver was polite and professional.

Was able to get an earlier train.

Excellent service at late notice

Excellent service when I needed it. I was stranded at a station that doesn't have cab offices near by. Uber wasn't available. The last bus had already gone, even though google had said it would come. It was late at night. Their prices were the better than other companies.

I was able to pay on the link they sent via card. I was told the cab would come in 30 mins because of the location I was and the time of night. I asked if it was possible to get it sooner, as It was late and cold. The dispatcher explained why it would take long. someone had to come from the town I was going to, so it made sense.

To my great surprise they came even earlier. The kind driver had said he warmed up the car for me as he knew it would be cold. He had also said he came as quick as he would because he saw that he was picking a female that late at night. It just made my day to see the consideration.

I had been so upset with my journey, i hadn't planned to chat with the driver. His friendliness, courtesy and kind consideration meant I cooled down and we had a nice chat as he drove me home. And as a female, I felt safe the whole time. Even in his stories, I could tell he is a genuinely kind, helpful and selfless person.

I am so grateful for this kind of service because after the journey I had, I needed it. Thank you so much. I will definitely be using happicabs when i need to use a cab and I highly recommend them. Thank you once again

After a long day in Broomfield A&E, it was great to see our taxi arrive. We were bushed and our driver seemed to understand and not talk too much. Good run home and we very much hope he managed to avoid the congestion we saw at the top of 3 mile hill, on his way home.

The taxi claimed to have turned up but didn’t. When I spoke to the driver her had gone to totally the wrong location and tried to blame me. Disgusting service

Our driver from Braintree train station to home on Friday 27th November was exceptional. He was there when the train pulled into the station and was extremely pleasant and polite. To add to this my husband left his hat in the taxi and the driver went out of his way to come back today and reunite it with him. We cannot recommend it higher. Thank you
