They call themselves "THE online store for plastic model kits" for good reason. If you can't find it anywhere else, it's usually on Hannants. Unrivalled stock in my experience, good prices and delivery is pretty speedy, though not the fastest.

As others have noted the website is a bit dated, but the search function is surprisingly good compared to competitors (nice to see everything properly categorised!). It's probably the only model shop I've seen that really puts a ton of effort into its catalogue and that makes it so much easier to find things.

I recently made a return and the whole process was fast and easy so top marks for customer service too.

I’ve used Hannants for years, and will probably continue to do so! For the most part, service is prompt; they deal with orders quicker than most. The website is very functional - as it should be - even if the website is somewhat dated in design (it’s not the best on a smart phone). The search facility is generally good (but you do need to have some prior knowledge of your subjects). Sometimes the availability of models, detailing parts and accessories, etc, is not what I would expect, but this could be down to manufacturers. I would also like to see more models from lesser-known producers, some of whom offer outstanding kits not available elsewhere.

Great selection of models and very fast service. Ordered late Wednesday night with standard delivery and I get the order today!

Hassle free excellent service: great selection of items (lots that can't be found elsewhere - like some paint masks or decal sets, or are more expensive), straightforward ordering process, and well packed and sent on time orders. I recently emailed Hannants as I was looking for specific WW2 aircraft decals. I asked if they were in stock. That was about six weeks ago and I'm still waiting. It would be OK if I got a reply saying, no, yes, I don't know, we don't answer email queries, or something. Anything, but only silence ensued...

Prior to lockdown the service was excellent. Now everything has to be done strictly on line. No questions can be asked because they do not answer the phone and although thry say they reply to emails they do not.
Mind you so many companies have used Covid as an excuse to reduce customer service.

Hannants are veritable stalwarts of the scale model industry. Their stock and expertise is substantial. Their prices are fair and I've been satisfied with the purchases I have made.

One thing for them to consider improving is their website. It is functional, but very old-fashioned and not optimised for mobile devices.

That being said, they are a dependable retailer and you'll find stock with them that you won't find elsewhere. Firmly recommended.

I had placed an item on backorder and had an email today to say that it was in stock. Added to cart, but was unable to check out, the system kept pushing me round in circles.
I emailed their customer service and got an extremely quick reply (especially considering their reduced staffing during COVID), and when it still wasn't working Lee from Hannants called me to sort it out over my phone.
Despite the technical problem, the service to remedy the issue and process my order was top level. I'm incredibly happy with the service on this occasion.

I believe that reviewers confuse Hannants main establishment at Lowestoft with the franchised shop at Hendon. Hannants Lowestoft team are polite, efficient and VERY hardworking. I have dealt with them for years by mail and in person and know that customer satisfaction is highly rated. However I DO know that some customers lack patience and understanding.......I have been present when this has been demonstrated and the team have shown great forbearance and good manners.....more than the customer!

I've ordered many times before in Hannant's and everything has been good until the last time: I placed an order 2 months ago and still hasn't arrived yet. I placed my order on 26th june, and the following week I received an email stating that the items I bought had already been delivered. However, I have not received any packet yet, and after sending them a couple of emails asking if they could please indicate me the delivery number for me to track it, I have not received an answer email from them neither.

Hannant’s were always a great model supplier but they have been absolutely outstanding during the Coronavirus lockdown. Hannant’s have continued to provide a superb choice of kits and accessories that are delivered, well packed and very quickly. No delays or excuses here. Hannant’s is an outstanding company who provide very high levels of service. Very, very highly recommended.

Have placed about eight orders -- six in the past and two on the way. Never had an issue.

I have found that there is usually a delay between my order being placed and the order leaving the shop, but it is acceptable.

I'm in the US and have stopped using US online ordering -- Hannant's is much better stocked and is competitive on price.

I live in the US. I found an upgrade set at Hannants that was discontinued. Naturally, I ordered it. While I have not received my order as of yet, as it just shipped, the transaction thus far has been flawless. They have provided ample communication and I know exactly where my shipment is. I will definitely be doing business with you in the future. !!

Hannants have an outstandingly comprehensive range of kits and aftermarket products, and offer brilliant customer service.

I've been shopping from Hannants for a few years now and have found the service to be very good, and most important a great choice of models.
If I've every had an enquiry the staff have always been helpful and friendly.

Excellent packaging of goods and quick delivery

I live overseas and use Hannants online store a lot. I always get my order well packaged and protected in a timely fashion. Great range of model extras such as hard to find decal sheets ect. A great modeller's resource.

I ordered two pilot figures for a 1/72 scale kit from this company and as their website shows a picture of the pilots painted this was the reason for purchasing them.
When I received them I found they were unpainted so why are they showing the product as pre painted there is nothing on the website to state that these are unpainted yet the manufacturing company state on their website that they are unpainted I suggest Hannants should include this on the product on their website.
