Hale Pet Door Omdömen 

this was hard to review. I think Hale makes a quality pet door(although you will pay for it), but the installation of the universal door was very difficult. the instructions were impossible on my screen door. I was able to install it, but I had to cut part of the door which voided the warranty, but in the end, I think it may be stronger than their install.

When I ordered my door I was not paying proper attention to some of the information necessary for Hale to get my door right. I got an email right away to make sure I really wanted what I wanted. Very helpful

After 10 years of faithful service in the blazing Arizona sun, the flaps of our Hale Pet Door started to deteriorate. The replacement flaps arrived with new magnets, brushes and detailed instructions to remove the worn parts and install the new. Within an hour our Hale Pet Door was completely refurbished to almost new condition.Though the new parts have a nice warranty, I expect it will be 10 years before I will be reordering another replacement. Thank you to Hale Pet Door for workmanship and service on the highest level.

This purchase/exchange was the most pleasant experience I've had with a company in forever. I was so excited to find just the pet door I needed when doing an online search. Ordering online was easy and I really liked that they donated to where I rescued/adopted my cats. When I received the product I was so excited. But as I quickly found out, I ordered the wrong size for my door. I called the customer service number and the lady was amazing, fantastic and oh so helpful. She explained what size I needed, helped with my return and ordered me what I needed. My life would be much more stress free and joyful if every business I encountered were as wonderful as Hale Pet Door!!!

I bought my pet door almost 10 years ago and it has worked very well. After 10 years of 2 dogs going in and out many times per day made the flaps quite dirty and you could definitely not see through them. The replacement process was quite simple but the new flaps were so clear my dogs didn't want to go through until I bribed them with treats! The Hale Doors are more expensive but have held up better than I would have expected. Worth the money. SB

I've had mine for 20 years and love it. I like that I can get replacement flap plastic since mine sits in the AZ sun. I only need to replace them about every 10 years which is pretty good for being in direct sunlight all the time. Would highly recommend the pet door.

The pet door is extremely well constructed and was a breeze to install. My dogs were using it in under 10 minutes. The company communicated with me from the moment I ordered to when it was installed. Normally I don't take the time to do these feedback surveys but Hale Pet Doors was so incredible to deal with. They hit the bullseye with customer satisfaction.

We've had a Hale door for 19 years. Had one repair years ago and now a new outer flap. We have really rough weather, and it's in the sun, so an excellent track record.

Finished product looks great. Kinda wish on the instructions they used a different color pet door on a different color screen so you can see the instructions better.

We've installed 2 different wall mount dog doors and replaced flaps twice on one of them (due to a Border Collie who thinks her job in life is to race in and out of them all day)! Absolutely fantastic quality, sturdy dog doors...and replacements are easy to install and come with detailed instructions. Recommend Hale every time we get a chance. They're the best!

I had a pet door installed through a solid concrete wall about 10 years ago. Last year I finally had to replace the flaps. I purchased the flaps and replaced them myself.
One of them started to tear and I contacted the company who immediately took care of me and sent out a replacement.

I have had 2 Hale Security Pet doors and the only reason I bought 2 is because we moved. The current one has been in constant use by 4 to 6 dogs for the past 17 years!!! I just recently had to replace a flap but otherwise it is going strong and will probably outlive me! Totally awesome and worth every penny!

Love the door. It is expensive, but worth it. Plus, the warranty policy is the best and fair.

This is the second door I have bought, the first was for my dog ,I have had that one for 9 yrs. My dog loves it!! This door is for my daughters dog who took to it instantly!! The dogs are so much happier to come and go when they have the need. Well made product, worth every cent!!

Happy that they have a warranty program for replacement flaps but they are still expensive for the Giant flaps when I need to replace them almost every year. We have had several Hale doors in various homes and with different sized dogs. The Giant flaps tear at the top corner. Hale customer service is aware of this problem. Initially, the rep was sure my Danes were too tall. We installed this Giant door in this home about 5 inches from the floor. So, the Danes are actually 3-4" shorter than the top of the door flap. With that, they agreed the door is the appropriate size. And, they have no fix for the flaps tearing except for me to purchase new flaps almost every year under the warranty which eventually will be full price.

**2016--The original installer is coming over to install the replacement flaps and he suggested rounding out the corners of the metal edge at the top where the flaps attach. We are hoping this will solve the problem.
