I purchased a unlock code for gsmliberrty and they can not unlock my phone, they will not reply to any emails and the on line chat person can not help either. they will not stand behind there guarantee. they will not unlock my phone or refund my $ I have a slvr L7 that is locked to cingular

Aside from the delay in confirming my payments, the moment they started processing the code it did not go beyond the stipulated processing time. And once i got the code, on one try it unlocked my phone

I find it rather unusual that this company has a list of very positive reviews unless they are composing them themselves in order to give the public a positive opinion of their services.In my opinion, this organization is a complete scam, they promise to provide Unlock Codes within a particular time frame and fail miserably to meet their commitments. Once received, the Unlock Codes provided were not suitable for my phone and failed to unlock the phone as promised.
When confronted through their online Chat Portal, their Customer Service representatives are rude, obnoxious, and have absolutely no intention to assist although they have already taken payment. The customer is referred to send an email with their objections and request for refund to their respective sales department's email address.
The responding sales person happens to be the same individual I had the online chat with. Thus, what is one to expect, the customer support was miserable, totally unfriendly and unwilling to assist in a mannerism conducive to what in the professional world would be considered Best Business Practices. And of course, they refused to make a refund for my advanced payment although they were not capable of providing the expected services to be rendered.

I ordered the unlock on gsmliberty because it showed the unlock would be sent in less than 1 hour. I sent the request and got the processing confirmation at 9pm but didn't receive the unlock code until 1am...3 hours later. I called the US number provided after an hour of waiting but the number didn't work at all. I was half convinced that I was scammed. Regardless of the lateness, the unlock worked like it should've. I just wished that the code would've been sent in the estimated time frame

I had an old ATT (USA) Blackberry Curve 8310, and wanted to unlock it so I could use it to put in a world-travel SIM card. Ordering required a different page, so I had to use the chat line to connect me to the order page for that device. That was quick. Nice thing about their chat people...they are really THERE as you chat, unlike some who are doing 10 chats at once and make you wait 10 minutes for a response. Anyhow, ordered the unlock key following their directions to get the code for the phone, and they emailed it to me within minutes. They sent two codes. (I suppose the second was a backup in case the first one did not work). I waited until the next day, when their tech people would be in just in case I needed them, to try to unlock. I am aware that there are literally thousands of different makes and models of phones out there, all with slightly different methods of getting "inside" for information, so I knew that it would be impossible to expect everyone to be totally familiar with MY phone. I found a couple different conflicting instructions, so rather than screw things up, I tried CHAT again. And he walked me thru it all, step by step. When something did not seem to work, he found what would work. As I said, always right there to respond as I went thru the maze of finding this and finding that and then finally entering the code. IT WORKED!!! Now, instead of an old clunky barely intelligent phone, I have a nicer and easier phone that I can use with my World (MOBAL) Sim card! And I am one happy camper! The $7.95 was much less expensive than buying a new unlocked phone!

Service is very good and accurate. I have activate my phone without problem

I will rate this guys above every other unlocking company. I ask my family members in africa to give the imei no, i give it to gsmliberty and so far not even one has failed. their codes have always come fast and have worked accurately.if you dont wanna throw your money away, then Gsmliberty is right guys for you.

I've unlocked two AT&T iPhones through GSMliberty with no hassle: an iPhone 5 and an iPhone 5C. All that I needed to do after receiving the IMEI unlocked confirmation was put in the non-AT&T SIM card—didn't even need to connect to a computer and iTunes! It "just worked."

I also used the service to unsuccessfully unlock a prepaid phone and promptly received a refund.

I received an unlock code within 20 minutes, entered the 'network' code and received an error message.. I was just about to post a negative review about this service, when I realized that this might be because I set the 'PERSO SHA256' flag OFF when I was attempting a free unlock method that apparently works with US/other carriers. I reset the flag to ON, rebooted the phone and entered the network code again, GREAT SUCCESS.

Though the price is $5 less than a few other sites I came across, $30 is still pretty expensive. Hopefully, there are less expensive alternatives out there.. but if you need it done right away, pay the paper. This site worked for me.

The poorest company I have ever dealt with. They list phones they can't actually unlock, take your money, then refuse to respond to any emails asking for help or refunds. I'm sure they can get the job done sometimes, as long as "getting the job done" does not require any interaction. I wish I'd read the many shocking reviews these charlatans have, but I didn't check and appear to have paid the price.

The really sickening thing is that most of these positive reviews on here are clearly written by employees of GSMliberty and should be removed

Is a five start unlocking company ,i have used their services for five times and i all they are excellent in delivery.I love their 24hr customer service

They sent me all 3 codes for the same price but it took 20 minutes to come instead of 10.

Nevertheless, still worked. Also a bit expensive, but I couldn't find any others that provided unfreeze code.

I needed to unlock my Samsung S3 My carrier wanted £22 and 20 working days to unlock my phone. I decided to use GSMLiberty and once I purchased the unlock code they emailed me all the relevant information. Within 40 minutes my phone was unlocked.

The site is very easy to use and explains everything in good detail with no hidden charges.

I had purchased an unlock code from gsmliberty for my Samsung Galaxy S4, unfortunately they were unable to find my IMEI in the tier 1 database after 4.5 hours (the estimated time of delivery was 7-13 hours). I was provided with an option to search in their tier 2 database for an additional cost, but I opted out and canceled my order.

All of the correspondences from gsmliberty were very clear and professionally, and my refund request was promptly addressed (within 3 hours). I would use them again for looking up unlock codes.

Excellent experience, easy to follow instructions, details of what was involved and most importantly - it works. My code arrived within 15 minutes and worked first time. My old phone is now in use again, no fuss, no hassle and cheaper than the rest on offer. Thanks a lot.

The cost was very reasonable and their communication was excellent and they are true professionals who believe in 100% customer satisfaction , I would use them again and again, I'm very happy with their service .

They did not deliver me a code within time-frame they specified. Instead, way after the time-frame passed, they emailed me requesting more cash if I still wanted the code. In their Guarantees, they clearly state, that if they do not deliver within time-frame they specify, they will issue refund immediately and code is free. Not in my case,
after time-frame passed, no refund, still no code + they asked for more money.... LOL
They are FRAUDS.

I've been searching all over for a legitimate website for unlocking iPhones.. I even went to places around me and they charged a sh*tload. GSMLiberty unlocked my iPhone for only $95 ! I didn't mind waiting the 2-3 weeks because I understand how many people are trying to unlock iPhones now a days.. Just got the email of the instructions to complete the unlock and bam! Simple as that!

The payment took a little time to go through so that made me a bit skeptical but in the end i managed to unlock my phone.

Note: I had to go through the instructions provided in my email and use the CODE ERROR troubleshoot steps before I got it to work
