This review is only for the Grocery Outlet Bargain Market on Morrissey in Santa Cruz. The management of this store thinks that they have the right to accuse their customers of shoplifting when they have done nothing of the sort and are still in the interior of the store. But worse than that after doing that if you contact them and ask for an apology because you did nothing if the sort, they refuse to give an apology and they insinuate that you had the intent to steal from there point of view. But it's even worse than that because they do this in an extremely hostile manner inflicting emotional and mental distress.

I love Grocery Outlet! I always find things to buy there. Their prices are great, they always are well staffed so U don’t need to wait long to check out. The staff is courteous, helpful, respectful and professionally

Grocery Outlet is a great store. They have excellent selection and good prices, with friendly, helpful associates. They’ve always treated me with dignity and respect - unlike other stores - and they saved the day for me this morning by having Johnny Cat litter at a great price. I recommend Grocery Outlet Bargain Market for Everyone!

1st of all, this is 1st & only time that I’ve felt compelled to write a review on customer service. Today I was at the Lynnwood Grocery Outlet (I’m a long time customer) & I experienced a totally rude checker. He asked me if I’d like bags & I said yes…he started bagging them & placed 90% of items in one bag & a 2nd bag with only 3 small items….I told him I could not lift the one heavy bag & that I was 72 years old…His response, “I can’t read your mind on how old your are!” ….I was stunned at his sassy reply & told him he was being rude! He pretty much snarked & blew me off….I work professionally with high school students & have never had a student behave in such a disrespectful way. This checker needs to be put in “timeout” & I suggest he be taken off any service position that requires interaction with customers, Perhaps some time off or customer service training would be beneficial. If I were a 1st time customer, I would not be back. FYI: I recommend Grocery Outlet often & today was a real shocker for me! Please take the time read this & take it as constructive criticism.

Today, I had an experience that really made me not want to go back into this store. And I spend money in the store at least twice a week or I know once. There was some candy mistagged and the entire stand was marked, I had 2 bags and the Mgr said she would only honor one bag but I had 2 bags. Now the entire shelf was marked wrong. I felt this was horrible I was spending more than $35 and you won't honor the one item. This was truly SAD to me .. All the money I spend you would be petty and losebusiness. I wish there was more than one store in Vegas because I would surely go elsewhere. But I really like this Store.

I just left Grocery outlet on 72nd ST in Tacoma. I was looking for pantyhose I have an event and didn't have any so I wasn't dressed entirely matching outfit. So to leave the 2 ladies that were working the cash registers out because they didn't do anything. But I was immediately profiled and loudly over the speaker security scan isle 1 no one was there except myself and 2 other ladies. I knew it was me because of how I was dressed. I went to isles 2 then 5 and was the only person on these 2 isles. Loudly over speaker SECURITY SCAN ILSE 2 AND 5. I quickly get what I'm getting and go to checkout and ask to speak to manager. He tells me 2 guys with backpacks were there and not to assume everything is about me and I shouldn't have a guilty conscience. He tells me he is as high up as it gets and laughed at me just totally embarrassed and traumatized!!! I go to my car and the girl getting the cart's look at me saying you got a problem lady? Don't assume everything is about you she says!! I'm posting this all over social media and probably going to file a lawsuit!!!

I have lived here for 36 years and never had such a horrible experience with any establishment until I was shopping at Grocery Outlet and was falsely accused of stealing. I have never in my entire life stolen from any store ever. It's just not in my nature. After I paid for my groceries like I always do I was approached by a manager who took my picture and proceeded to tell me she was posting my picture in the office for everyone to see and was very loud aggressive and totally uncalled for she had no evidence to back up her . I offered my bag to look through politely to which she refused and proceed to tell me never to come back in the store again which was absolutely absurd. I was absolutely devastated and in hysterics leaving the store. Just wanted to share my experience. Why she wouldn't just simply look in my bag and let me prove my innocence just proves she was wrong and completely out of line. Its just not fair.

I've driven 30 miles just so I can shop at Grocery Outlet! They have a great variety of Organic fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef, lamb...also carry a lot of imported foods that aren't riddled with a lot of poison ( high fruittuce corn syrup etc)😊 I dislike shopping but at Grocery Outlet...I have fun!!! Now they are opening a store in my neighborhood Yaaaaaaa!!!

Sparks, Nevada Grocery Outlet is a fine store. Every time I have visited the store it is clean and the produce is fresh. Workers are nice too. Have never had a problem with outdated products or moldy products.

Some prices are above other stores but some prices are also below other retailers. Their web site is not very good for comparing/searching for products or prices on goods.

They don't carry a super variety of offerings like Walmart but what they have is pretty good, if you are on a quick shopping trip for essentials.

When the line gets long at one register, they quickly open another register so customers don't have to wait.

It’s very clean.. lots of stuff to pick from. The people that work there are very nice and helpful.

Love the one in Lake City, Seattle WA. Friendly staff, warm environment, good deals!!!. And oooh affordable wine!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great customer service, great prices, great place for your family grocery shopping needs.

Totally love the new owners who moved here from Oregon. You can tell that they truly care about their employees too (I wasn't afraid to ask employees). Great prices. Can be a little iffy from one time to the next if you fall in love with a product but I also wouldn't hesitate to ask them if they can get it if you like it. These people truly care about their people, their store, and this community. Take comfort in knowing that this is NOT A BIG BOX STORE but individually owned. I honestly wish that they were bigger so that I could simply patronize them for all of my grocery needs!

They have moldy produce. Their meats and their produce are not fresh, do not buy them. I ate a raspberry from one of their containers before realizing how absolutely enveloped in mold the container was. Disgusting.

I hate to give my favorite place a bad review but unfortunately since the new owners have taken over I've been hearing a lot of bad things so I decided to visit and see how my local Monroe wa grocery outlet I've been going to for 10 years was doing the store looks a lot better.
unfortunately when I walked in the door the first thing Im greeted with is the new owner Linda being absolutely cruel to one of her employees the way she was talking to that poor woman and yelling and the language she was using I know this store and it's employees and that is absolutely appalling the way she was talking to and treating her Employee they are such amazing staff and this new owner has no right to talk to these hard working people who are working I may add during a crisis we have all come to know and love Them what wonderful staff.
Except this Linda woman needs to watch her mouth we in this town are all watching you and the way we have seen and heard how you treat those poor people you shouldn't be a boss you should be a villain your not doing a good job so far missy and you do NOT berate your employees at the registers in front of your customers SHAME on you for doing that to your employees and in front of your customers.
Linda you need to do better your attitude is appalling and needs to change This grandma will not stand for the way your treating those lovely people knock it off right now.

EXCELLENT! In SLO (San Luis Obispo, CA) this is one of the ONLY places where the people are polite & friendly. For whatever reason, there is a rash of "I'm busy, too busy to be bothered, or I don't see you" in the employee's in the city. Which is uninviting to say the least. No other city around it like this.. beach cities to more inland.
Being said, Grocery Outlet in SLO is THE TOP! From Management to associates! Friendly and caring. My fav employee is 'Magi'. She makes everyone feel like they passed through her personal door and comforts as they do. She's a breath of fresh air.
The owner is a gem!
The store is always clean and well stocked. The variety of well priced items is what keeps me coming back. I never know just what I might find.
This is a great place to find your Organic, Wholesome, Fresh foods at an all time low & very affordable price. SO glad Grocery Outlet came and planted roots in our neck of the woods.. it's a nice change from the big name over priced grocery stores.. that don't get me wrong, they have their place. Especially, since GO doesn't carry absolutely everything that the big names do.. but it sure is a great place to start your race on Market day!
As for this particular location, IT IS THE BEST over any of the ones within 20 - 30 miles.
The atmosphere here is OUTSTANDING! to say the least.
I can't comment enough on a Friendly Crew!
Customer Service Brings Customers Back!
No wonder they are consistently Busy.. lol

I visited GO mid July and was treated terribly by a tall black transgender male I did not know at the time. He intimidated me and scared me. He was rude and hateful after I asked if they had any carts. I am handicapped and told him I needed the cart to lean on and he said "I have problems with life too" I asked to talk to the manager and he said "I am the manager" I couldn't believe they had put this despicable person in charge. I didnt shop and decided I would never come back. I tried it again just recently and saw a familiar face a very helpful man in the produce and I told him what eexperience I had with that horrible man. To my surprise he told me "He's not here anymore." I was elated that they got rid of that disgusting employee. I am now going back to GO on Lawrence. I like to think That writing a letter to corporate was helpful in ridding nasty hateful people to customers. I would have liked a response from that GO bc my letter was sent to corporate and they said they would forward it to the site manager but I never got a call from them so I stayed away since July but now I know they got on it right away and now I have returned to my favorite store. Thank you GO for responding in a positive way. I was very upset and it is not my desire for anyone to lose their job if they did but I have never been treated that way in any store. I dont care what gender he picks. I just want to be safe in public or wherever I shop. Thank you Grocery Outlet fro caring for your customers,

The Grocery Outlet ( 401 Marin St, Vallejo, CA)

I am a retired man, 72 years old. I went to the store to buy somethings this afternoon.
The security guard stoped me at the door, said: you steal before, you can not go in.

I think he may get wrong remember and I said when? who? what's his name? he said: a few days ago. don't know name, I know you. I said, I need talk to manager. he refused and force me out !

I feel i was Plainly insulted for no reason.
If security guard find stealing, need report to manager immediately.
The store shall have the legal procedure.
