Georgina and Sue were very helpful when we visited the Solihull store today - thank you!

After returning to walking on a regular basis I needed to ensure my clothing is up to the job.
I’ve had three trips to Go Outdoors in Solihull and bought walking trousers, base layers and today I was in search of a breathable jacket as wearing my fleece is going to be too hot as spring is arriving.
I had excellent assistance from Bruce who took the time to explain the benefits of the different garments and assisted me in my choice. I’m looking forward to trying out my new Berghaus in the next few days and no doubt I’ll be back for something else.

Bruce helped to identify my requirements and then fulfil them. He responded positively and comprehensively to my queries and ensured that my purchases were prepared for collection outside of his working shift pattern.
Overall, I was left with an extremely positive impression of his focus on delivering to the customers needs.

Customer service was very poor at the till point. Staff at checkout looked miserable and not courteous at all. Won't be going again for sure.

Thanks to Bruce for helping us loads today with the girls trying on walking boots for the first time. Very patient with getting lots of boxes out! Successful outcome with new boots for both.

John was very attentive and helpful. I came in looking for hiking boots and wool socks, with no clue about either. It really helped that he was so knowledgeable about the products. He pointed me in the right direction and made recommendations for the features I wanted. I've since visited cold, icy Romania in January and my Peter Storm boots were perfect.

Bruce has quite literally been a superstar. I am disabled and can only use one hand and Bruce very kindly helped me put together my crutch which was flat packed and even held the door open for me. Went in to collect a click and collect. We checked the shoes I ordered were the same as my husband already had. Bruce pointed out we had selected a non waterproof version and explained how we could tell the difference. I asked if he could direct us to the waterproof version which he happily did and showed us the 2 colours. I then decided to change the fleece I had ordered and selected a different one. Again this was not a problem and Bruce sorted everything out. A great trouble free experience.

Bruce served me to a new waterproof coat and was very helpful.

Libby was really helpful and friendly as well as being knowledgeable regarding the puffer jackets. She gave me one on one support to make the right purchase. I don't enjoy shopping but Libby made it feel more relaxing. She also showed interest in my Ramblers membership.

Came back to exchange shorts. I had selected the wrong size. We were able to use a changing room several times to get it right. Got help and advice on sizes and also information from inside a packet to establish what was not quoted on the outside of the box. Bruce went the extra mile. Thankyou for your service.

The staff at the store are friendly, helpful, pleasant and professional. They are very knowledgeable about the products in the store. The products are good value. At the Solihull store,katt was helpful upstairs in the ladies' shoe department John was wonderful when I was paying. Thank you both
