Spent a few days looking online for a used car after mine was stolen and had just received the insurance payout. I hate the car buying process.. I dislike dealing with private sellers as some are not genuine and hide issues, but also aware that traders sell for a little bit more. I was pleasantly surprised that the price I paid was very reasonable. No pushy sales tactics either. Gave me time to look around however didn’t ignore me. Both salesmen were friendly and helpful.
Very easy and relaxed experience and will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a car.

Avoid at all costs
Car broke down within 3 hours of me having it, spoke to them and told them that it wouldn’t start, they advised me to get it to a garage but at no point said that I could use the rac sign up that they apparently offer (no one told me about this until after the car had been repaired). I had to get the car towed at my own expense, to a local dealer who advised that the coil springs were faulty. The car was unable to be driven for a full week after I had purchased it, which meant increased costs for myself, good motors said they would look at reimbursement for the tow, but kept fobbing me off saying that the person I was needing to speak to was away from the office. It has now been nearly 2 weeks and they do not respond to emails or answer the phone. Absolute joke of a company. Avoid.

Brought a car and straight away within 30 days car broke down , tried getting a refund but they used bully tactics to try and make me keep the car, so now going to court mot passed with flying colours but after taking my car to my own garage I realised it should've failed

The minor issue you raised was rectified promptly. The reported oil leak was residue from a routine service we had carried out, and the vehicle passed its MOT with all checks in order. Corrosion noted on the car is consistent with vehicles in our climate and does not affect roadworthiness. The intermittent clutch issue you mentioned was not substantiated during our inspection.
As a gesture of goodwill, we returned the vehicle to you with a clean bill of health. Based on our findings and the vehicle’s condition, there were no grounds for refusal.
Should you wish to provide a detailed independent engineer’s report, we would be happy to review it thoroughly and support you in addressing any issues identified. At Good Motors, we remain committed to ensuring that all our vehicles are safe, reliable, and accurately represented.

Brought a vehicle within 7 days my peougot loss power rang the dealer to refuse the car they repaired it and posted the keys through the letter box, tried to resolve the matter with the dealer but his attitude and bully tactics got us nowhere so taking the matter to court . Avoid at all cost as the vehicle was also sold under fradulaunt mot. If you buy a vehicle off them then first thing i advice spend money on your own mot and if you find things that should be on there but not reported on the mot then contact dvsa.

Be CAREFUL using this company
Bought Ə Dacia Duster from here back in April this year 20 plate with agreeable high mileage at 84000 , did roughly 500 miles then parked on my driveway for 6 months whilst overseas at our holiday home then upon returning put it in for MOT and what next £1000 for repairs and retest......phoned Tony to see if i had any redress or help.
That'llbe a Big Fat SORRY MATE !He's left the company

500 miles!! And stood for 6 months, this vehicle was 'Sold as Seen'(which btw isn't a valid disclaimer these days) and IMO wasn't hadn't been checked out as it needed a new driveshaft and track rod ends

Ongoing dispute -
sharing my experience so far.
I purchased a BMW 7 Series from Good Motors Ltd, Bury recently.
Next day after the purchase, I discovered several faults, including an oil leak from the rocker cover (quoted £1,625.99 to repair), split front brake reactor arm bushes (£818.98), a split rear propshaft coupling (£524.76), and rear brake pads & discs that were around 90% worn (£517.79).
Dealer advertised mileage on car as 54k but car has done nearly 56k, and in daily use but not mentioned in the listing. Also claimed to have serviced car but BMW record shows last service done August 2023.
I was also informed that there was an outstanding safety recall on the vehicle that had not been completed before sale, which raised serious safety concerns.
When I contacted the dealership to resolve these issues, the communication was very poor — at one point, staff ended the call abruptly and told me I was “talking nonsense.”
When car was returned after 2nd inspection, staff threatened to leave car on the street.
The case is still ongoing, as I have not yet received a refund or resolution.
Surprisingly, dealer re-listed the car on auto trader even when V5C is in my name and my money yet to be refunded. I’ll update this review once the matter is concluded.
I’m sharing this to help others be aware of my experience so far.
