Even if China is the world’s largest steel-producing country, companies of this quality seriously damage the country’s image. There is already a certain prejudice in Europe against Chinese companies and products, and Gnee Steel unfortunately confirms the concerns of skeptical buyers.

Their attention and communication are excellent until the sale is completed and the payment is received. However, after receiving products that did not meet the agreed standards, it became extremely difficult to find a responsible contact or receive proper support.

Based on our experience, we would not recommend this company to buyers looking for reliable quality and after-sales service.

Earlier this year, I reached out to this supplier for some custom-cut steel parts. To be honest, we didn't agree on the initial quote because of the cutting costs, and I thought that would be the end of it.
However, our contact person, Peter, didn't just give up or push for the sale. He took the time to understand our setup and realized we actually have our own cutting capacity. He then suggested buying full plates instead, which ended up saving us a significant amount on our total project cost.
That level of professionalism really stood out to me. It’s rare to find a supplier that prioritizes the customer's savings over their own profit margins. The steel quality is solid, and the material test certificates were provided exactly as promised.
Also, for an international order, the whole process—customs, shipping, and documentation—was handled seamlessly. It made the entire experience very stress-free. If you are looking for a reliable and honest steel partner, I’d definitely recommend these guys.

We've been sourcing steel from this supplier for over 5 years now. Honestly, it's hard to find reliable partners these days, but they have been consistently good. Their steel quality is always up to spec, and they always provide the MTC docs we need without us having to chase them.
What I appreciate most is that they don't just disappear after the sale. If a minor issue comes up, they actually work to fix it instead of making excuses. If you are in the engineering or trading business, I’d definitely recommend giving them a try.

They can reach the European market through Google ads, but neither their product quality nor their company principles meet European standards. They are sales-focused, but you can never find anyone to contact after the sale. Stay away.

We placed our order in December 2025, and they took our payment. But until June 2026 they kept delaying us and using our money, and they never delivered anything. They didn’t even put our order into production. Completely unprofessional experience.

In my opinion, this is a company that European buyers should be wary of. The products shipped have substandard chemical and mechanical analyses. It's a complete scam.
