If you are looking for an awning, don’t look further than these guys. Their prices are highly competitive and they stock a wide range of awnings and equipment to suit all needs.
However their greatest asset is their staff and owner who are such a helpful, friendly bunch. Their service and product knowledge are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. When the awning we ordered didn’t fit our caravan (due to the production run of our caravan), they swiftly sorted the problem for us and even delivered it to site (not to mention giving a hand to put it up)

Popped in looking for awnings. Had a look rd the vehicles too. The staff were so helpful and full of knowledge. Making sure we didn’t want for anything. Would definitely recommend coming here

We visited the store to purchase our first awning and as such we were looking for advice and guidance on what was best for our van. I can honestly saw it was an absolutely shocking experience. The store assistant was totally uninterested and he had very little knowledge and his colleague who I assume was the manager was equally as uninterested and had a very smug attitude. If you are looking to visit the store I wouldn’t bother, best take your money and business elsewhere.

I ordered a Quest Leisure Instant Utility and Storage Tent on Wednesday 23 July. Through the online chat helpline I was assured that this item was in the green rather than grey colour way.

The tent was delivered on Friday 25 July. When I opened the box that afternoon I discovered (1) that the tent was grey rather than green and (2) that the locking device was one of the legs was broken.

I took photographs of the damaged legs and emailed Glossop awnings that evening. On the morning of Monday 28 July I followed up this email through the online help chat. A member of staff advised me to forward my email to the warranty department. I received no reply from either of these email addresses.

On Saturday 2 August I replied to an email asking me to review Glossop Awnings on Trustpilot by highlighting my negative experience to date. On Sunday 3 August I received a reply to that email promising that I would receive a call from the aftersales department the following day to resolve the issue. I did not receive a phone call.

I followed up this email on 5 August and again on returning from holiday on Tuesday 12 August. Later that day I receive a reply from Daisy as follows: 'I have had a look into this and it came directly from Quest so I will need to ask them to collect this. What colour have you received? Would you you like them to get the correct colour sent to you?'

I replied to this email asking for a full refund on the same day. Over a week later and despite a further follow-up email asking for confirmation of when the faulty item will be collected and when I might expect to receive a refund I have not yet received a reply.

On Friday it will be four weeks since the damaged tent was delivered and I first flagged the problem to Glossop Awanings.

A really good range of different awenings setup to look at, no pressure selling and a really pleasant place to visit. Nicely presented and well kept and the staff were friendly too.

I’ve bought several items from Dominic at Glossop Awnings & their customer service is outstanding. Dominic has gone out of his way each time I’ve been looking for an item, searching their warehouse, sending me pictures, videos, link. I’ve had the best service you could wish for, thank you so much I wouldn’t use anywhere else, delivery super too.
