Shrink in size,
Went to buy Cornish pastie as soon as i picked it up WOW its shrunk in size and the Price has doubled!!!!
They was never like this cant believe what i has bought for £2.25 what was normal around £1 not that long ago . Its the size difference that i have noticed the most.
Ginsters was never like this.

bought achicken and bacon pasty from a fuel station, went for ginsters naturally , opened it up to see a tiny pasty !!?? 180g as apposed to the 227g in the past ! same price as thge proper size pasty ... shame on you ginsters " or should that be GANGSTERS ? , always went for ginsters in the past , but after todays dissapointment, you can go and ....... yourselves & never again will i buy another ginsters product . avoid dissapointment .

I purchased a ginsters steak slice. It contained an enormous lump of what I assume was gristle. Found it on second bite. Threw the slice way and kept the gristle to send to ginsters.
Fed the experience back to them. They sent me a voucher that didn’t even cover the cost of the product. Despite following up with them over 3 times they are just blanking me.
Having used their product for years I am no longer doing so. Awful customer service so suggest avoiding them.

Most of ginsters products I enjoy, sausage roll, pasties and the little but bloody expensive pockets. However I recently had the new bbq sausage roll, OMG 1 of the most disgusting things I have tasted, hard to describe but I'm 100% sure it's disgusting. Ginster please destroy this product.

How the are they still in business and allowed to sell this rubbish. Bought the Cornish pasties and the amount of grizzle was unreal. Wouldn’t be fit for a dog never mind a human. It shouldn’t be allowed so disgusting

got a sausage roll for under £2!! Amazing texture and even better taste. I was drawn in by the unique packaging and wasn’t disappointed. The only thing that could make this better would be lowering the amount of salt. Altogether amazing!

Absolutely disgusted in the size of the slices, they appear nearly half as big as they used to be with very little filling. I will never purchase Ginsters again after being an avid customer for 30 years, shame on you.

Shocked by the dinky little 130g pasties in my multipack.
They looked like a shrunken version of what they used to be. And for quite a while I have been thinking these pasties are pastry-heavy and content-light with the result that they turn out dry after heating. The claim that they are 'Original' is unconvincing.

Should be called potato pasty, disgusting hardly any meat all veg and pastry.2205

just bought a Ginsters Cornish Pastie from Iceland. Sadly they now are pretty tasteless and lacking in content.

A poor example of a once enjoyable tasty product, presume its the dumbing down of food nowadays, to make it more healthy and cheaper to produce

I have just noticed this week that I purchased a ginster Cornish pasty and I have eaten it today and notice that it has shrunk yet again it is not worth the money anymore I will not be buying any more ginsters products ever again.

Unfortunately, like lots of major brands these days, their products are shrinking. I'm not sure what is causing this mass shrinkage with many of our beloved products but its certainly a worry...that said I still find the cornish pastie pretty tasty even if it is a bit smaller!

bought a pack of four to give the kids after school. A Cornishman would smash it in your face with disgust. The kids spat it out saying it was just a load of mush. I inspected the so called Cornish Pastie. A thimble amount of mush that was supposed to be meant and as for the veg it looked like Turnip. The pastry was a slippery elastic dough even though cooked as indicated. Obviously this company has never had a genuine CORNISH PASTIE what the miners had for there lunch. Never again horrible and will tell other parents to save their money and not buy this mush

Ginsters pasties are far from quality they are basically tasteless and not worth the money you pay, so the advert on tv is pointless!! I wouldn’t give them a try believe me!!

Opened a single packet of their peppered steak slice to find a 105g which cost £2.75 now at my local co-op (but this cost £1.25 (near end of shelf life cost)

This thing belongs in a kids lunch box. It fits in the palm of my hand & is only two bites worth.

This is the most horrible experience of a pastie that you could ever have shame this is all tourists get in service areas and you are happy with what you produce

Had one of these today after not having one for years, it was awful full of grisly meat. Definitely will never buy one again. Tasted like pepper not meat.

Half the size, price gone up. I’ve eaten ginsters Cornish pasty’s my whole life. No more now they have taken the p1ss.

Dear Elvis and colleagues,
It's now the 23rd of March '26, therefore it's sad but also unprofessional, that you haven't replied to my email sent on the 3rd March.
I've attached 2 photos of the gristle and fatty bits I had the misfortune to find in the 2nd cornish pasty I told you about, in February, because it seems you and Ginsters are in denial regarding how much your Ginsters Cornish Pasty has deteriorated in recent years.
It's been revolting finding this amount of gristle and fatty bits in every single pasty I've bought in the last 2 years or so, hence why I stopped buying them for so long. I only bought the two pasty's I reported to you in  because they were on promotion and I hoped things may have improved. But they certainly hadn't improved.
I've also attached a screenshot of Trustpilot's introduction on Ginsters because I'll be writing a review. Unsurprisingly, I'm not the only person who's experienced your decline and disgusting additions in your pasties. Here's their 1st paragraph:
