Late Arrival: The movers did not arrive during the scheduled time window of 2–3 PM. It was difficult to find the right point of contact, and after eventually reaching Bellhop customer care, I was told they would follow up.
Miscommunication: In the meantime, I located the assigned company’s name in the dashboard but had to search for that provider emergency contact number online myself (we should be provided a contact number with the actual company doing the moving.) When I spoke with them directly, they incorrectly stated that my moving truck had broken down and the service was cancelled for the day—which was completely untrue, and clearly a mix-up with another service booking. They apologized and said they would locate 2 movers ASAP. 2 movers arrived approximately 4:45 PM.
Unprepared Crew: The movers arrived under the impression they were moving 1 single item, not an entire 4-bedroom household of furniture. They brought no tools to disassemble furniture and were generally unprepared for the scope of the job. They had also already completed 2 other moves that day and were tired and not in a positive mind to spend the next 2 hours working on a Saturday evening.
Poor Handling and Oversight: My partner and I had to cover with provided packing blankets and strategically pack furniture ourselves as the movers were not packing efficiently enough for us to add in boxes. When they claimed the job was complete, I had to point out they forgot a TV, nightstands, headboard & footboard. They also missed a dresser mirror and bed parts from another bedroom - which we only discovered after they left. Unfortunately those items no longer fit since we had already been packing other items to complete the space when they said they got everything.
Book direct with a reputable company in the future.

Deceitful. Does not honor their word. It’s a trap. They charge $700 claiming that I did not initiate the cancellation process soon enough. Will win dispute with proper charge back.

They did a great job plus many extra effort

Catastrophic experience for a 5 mile move from house to apt in Edina, MN
Move delayed a day, no explanation or apology
Unprofessional inexperienced movers, not Bellhop employees
no moving blankets or any moving equipment. Had to tear the curtains off of our windows to use as blankets, and provide tape as they had none
Only sent 2 movers instead of contracted 3 so move took 12 hours instead of 5 and we were billed twice amount of contracted amount
Damaged 5 pieces of valuable furniture
Impossible to talk to Bellhop corporate office- call center based offshore
Fraudulent insurance and very difficult to file a claim, much less get appropriate compensation- 60cents/lb of items but they grossly underestimate the weight. we had to send them a photo of our damaged dining room table on the scale to prove it was triple the weight, and still didn't get accurate compensation
unable to finish the move in one day so team 'leader' returned next day with his own pick up truck and still couldn't move all items safely, so my husband had to mover remaining 2 pieces of heavy furniture.

Destroyed our trust in Bellhop and Greystar, which promoted them on their website

I did email support@ bellhop and got no response
We are requesting reimbursement for the cost of our furniture repairs and moving costs that doubled after only 2 amateur inexperienced movers were sent

Please assign a bellhop team leader to reach out to us to make this right, as you promised

I had an amazing moving experience. Definitely recommend

I moved to a new home, and needed help lifting the heavy stuff. Bellhop assigned Treyvond to me, and he was amazing. I could tell he was very experienced-he quickly formed a plan for getting my heavy items loaded, while also listening to my ideas. He was on time, he worked hard, and was very easy to work with. He even brought shrink wrap to keep my dressers closed!
Overall, my Bellhop experience was excellent, and I felt that their service was a great value.

Bellhop got a great crew who always went above and beyond. No hassles, no damage at all, and a can do attitude during the entire move. A lot of hustle . A lot of positivity. Impressed with them and Bellhop!

I asked and paid for the complete move package and the movers were not prepared to take anything apart - which was not a lot - my bed and my dining table were the only things to take apart and they had to borrow my tools. THis also increased the amount of time needed due to having to travel to get it.
The movers were great - but I expected more professionalism. Thanks.

The team that helped me was very professional, efficient, and friendly. I really appreciate their help and all that they were able to get done in such a short amount of time.
