A Helpful honest company.

I’ve been dealing with Sue Simms from Genie Homes for a number of years now. I have Genie Homes managing my property, I have also bought investment properties from them and could not recommend them more. Sue is a fantastic person to work with so much property knowledge so if anyone is thinking of letting a property, looking to sell or buy or interested in social housing Genie Homes is the company to be dealing with.

Ive used Genie Homes for over 5yrs and have nothing but positive things to say. Honest trustworthy service..yes you get hiccups but how its dealt with is what matters. They manage 6 properties let to social housing and completely happy with their service...

Don't trust them. Don't rent from them. They don't care about maintenance and privacy. Send someone in my property without my consent. Terrible company

Unresponsive to any issues brought up. Don't fulfil their responsibilities regarding maintenance and anything relating to the property.

I’m a landlord and Genie homes Birmingham is the worst management company ever.

Payments are late - I’ve heard all the excuses in the book as to why.

The Customer service is shocking- no one returns calls and whenever you want / need someone they are on ‘annual leave’ and no one knows who’s covering in their absence.

DO NOT USE.

I wish I could give them 0 stars, this is the worst agency I rented property with I live in one of their property in bearwood road and is the worst place I could ever find.
Their costumer service is the worst they then care about the tenants the only thing they care about is to get their payment on time, when is delayed for more than 2 days they will start sending you emails asking about the payment but whenever you have any maintenance problem it will take for them weeks to get it fix it.
I won’t recommend them, please avoid genie homes.🤮

If I could give Genie Home a zero-star rating, I would. My experience with this agency has been nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment I signed the lease, it became evident that their staff lacked even the most basic understanding of customer service.

Their employees' attitude is beyond appalling - rude, unhelpful, and downright disrespectful. It seems like they take pleasure in treating tenants like an inconvenience rather than valued clients.

Throughout my tenancy, I faced numerous issues with the property, ranging from maintenance problems to security concerns. Despite reporting these problems promptly, Genie Home displayed a complete lack of responsibility and accountability. They never bothered to address any of the issues, leaving me to suffer in a subpar living environment.

But their incompetence doesn't stop there. When I contacted them to follow up on my complaints, I was met with a wall of silence. My emails and calls were ignored, and it was like talking to a brick wall. It's abundantly clear that once they have your money, they couldn't care less about providing any form of service.

And the cherry on top? After I moved out and returned the property in good condition, I'm still fighting to get my deposit back. Their lack of response is beyond infuriating and shows how little they value their legal obligations to tenants.

Save yourself the stress and headache - steer clear of Genie Home. This company is a disgrace to the rental industry, and their disregard for tenants' well-being and rights is nothing short of despicable.

If you're looking for a rental agency that actually cares about its customers and upholds professional standards, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Don't let their flashy website fool you - Genie Home is a perfect example of style over substance, and they will only bring you disappointment and frustration.

In summary, I urge you to avoid Genie Home at all costs. They are totally rubbish an unprofessional, unresponsive, and unreliable agency that will do nothing but ruin your renting experience.
