I saw one positive review on here which…

I saw one positive review on here which made me laugh, obviously an employee of this terrible company. I got a PCN for waiting outside the feel good centre (how apt).
They call themselves parking solutions, what a joke!!
I wanted to appeal but didn’t want to risk the full charge if the appeal was lost. I paid the reduced charge. Tried to get in touch to tell them they are penalising people that are too scared to risk appealing. The customer service was dreadful.

cowboys!!!

Received a PCN for parking incorrectly. I paid the PCN at the amount allocated on their website after putting in the requested details. I then received a debt recovery letter stating I didn’t pay, I called and spoke with gentlemen, provided him evidence of payment made. He went back to Gemini and they came back saying I paid the wrong amount so therefore I owe £170! Hmm so I paid the wrong amount on your automated system??! I’ll await my day in court!

Parked at Lee Valley for a meeting, logged my car on the online portal but didn't get receipt email. Got penalty notice, appealed it, got no confirmation of my appeal, tried calling- goes to automated number-also tried emailing, no replies. Eventually got £170 bill from debt recovery company. Handle this company with caution.

I received letter from debt recovery…

I received letter from debt recovery plus to pay £170, which I paid for my parking on that day , also I never received letter from Gemini parking solutions London. I am recovering from cancer and this gave me lots of stress. I can’t proof that I paid for my parking on that day. This company doesn’t work at all giving stress to people. Someone has to stop this company doing that. Because they doing lots of mistakes and charging people for nothing. By doing mistakes they’re giving lots of stress to people. They don’t even pick up the phone only Robert is answering to the phone debt collector says you can’t appeal. You just have to pay or contact to Gemini. It’s not our problem only way is to pay £170 . I’m very disappointed from this company.

Excellent customer service

Parking companies get a bad rep. So when I needed to discuss an error I had made, I admit, I was surprised to actually get a thoughtful human response.

So this is me, taking the time to say thank you to Ashleigh (from customer services I assume) for your patience, for listening and for treating me like a human.

Keep doing what you're doing guys.

Unfair parking fees post appeal in my favour!

I paid for my parking on two occasions but had changed the private number plate on my car back to the original and hadn't spotted the parking app still had the old number.

I received the parking fine and appealed it assuming it would be rescinded as I had paid, but for the incorrect number plate.

The appeal was fond in my favour - only for me to be told that there would then be a £40 'fee' for the pleasure of this - I challenged it via email and verbally but to no avail.

Be careful using this companies car parks - they have no / limited scruples and are just looking for any reason they can find to fine you.

It would be zero if that is possible. I have been charged for making a genuine error when attending an appointment at the The RunnymedeHospital in November.I sent evidence to show I had an appointment,explained that I may have entered my reg number incorrectly as I didn't have my glasses on . Basically, they kindly said it's mitigating circumstances but we are still fining you £20. It's not possible to appeal as a the body they use doesn't consider mitigating circumstances situations.From my perspective this leaves me no choice but to fund the company.
Due to data protection I'm unable to confirm the information that they provided stating they don't have a similar registration entered or there was an error with the system.
This is not good reflection for users of The RunnymedeHospital who's own service is excellent.

If I could give this company a 0 rating…

If I could give this company a 0 rating I certainly would! Parking app at Metro Golf Center, Champions Way, NW4. The app was not working and after trying for 15 minutes to pay I had to move my car to a completely different location for parking. 1 month later I get a PCN for £100. System not operating as it should and we have to pay for it!

Nuffield Hospital Parking Scam

Parked at a Nuffield hospital and registered my car on arrival. The system provides no receipt or proof of registration. Gemini claimed I had not paid. After providing proof of appointment, they reduced the fee to £20 - but I also incurred a £50 administration charge from the car hire company. This is a fraudulent scam - make sure you take a screen shot when you register your vehicle.

Gemini Parking Solutions Company Shows No Compassion

Parked in Rutherglen shopping centre Glasgow it was like a demolition site, displayed blue badge but paid in case blue badge not accepted. Husband forgot to put car registration in but we paid for ticket cash. Week or so later got parking charge £60 appealed gave Gemini derails not one ounce of compassion. Explained as I was on two crutches couldn’t make it across building site car park and husband hadn’t entered car registration. Not one ounce of compassion was shown, suggested they could check machine or CCTV but they were not interested. If I lived in Glasgow would pay family to warn all other users to ensure they do no earn a penny from thus car park. Disgusting company not one ounce if compassion has been shown.

charged after following venue instructions

Followed venue instructions and registered via QR code for free parking but still received PCN. Gemini acknowledged mitigation but refused to cancel and offered £20 to close the case. System failure should not become a customer charge. Theft. Keep all proof/screen shots.

Following a Parking Charge Notice when…

Following a Parking Charge Notice when I returned from holiday I called the head office and spoke to a most helpful call handler Ashleigh and explained what had happened on the day of parking and the difficulty with the ticket machine and she was so patient and helpful and advised me to use the appeals procedure but did not receive any reply so I waited a few days and recalled and spoke to the same helpful person and after a few moments she informed me that the Parking Charge Notice was cancelled.
The professionalism of Ashleigh and understanding attitude is a credit to the company. Many thanks Ashleigh.

I have paid my fine

I have paid my fine. Not happy. I booked with Ring Go thought I was all set up half an hour over my time. No other way of paying. Not ticket all on camera. This was set up for me. I am elderly so not good with all the technology. I will not be using this system again and will warn others.

Appeal rejected with generic letter — no case-specific reasoning

Received PCN at Gunnersbury Park. I appealed with evidence. The rejection letter dated reads like a template and does not reference my individual circumstances or the evidence I submitted. The letter points me to the IAS but says I would lose the discounted rate and could owe £100 if unsuccessful. It also mentions Ombudsman Services yet states they do not participate. I’m paying the £60 discounted amount to avoid escalation but have asked their trade association to review whether the appeal was fairly considered. This experience felt opaque and automated rather than a genuine case review.

Awful

Another parking company hell bent on ripping people off. Made the genuine mistake of paying on the app for parking but on the wrong vehicle and, despite forwarding the relevant V5C, my appeal against the subsequent fine has been declined. If you have the misfortune to enter a car park run by them, do everyone a favour and find somewhere else to park.
