I am an estate agent in Borehamwood and am in the process of selling a property where Gem Estates Management are managing the block.

Tracey Atkins was an absolute joy to deal with. The property required an EWS1 Form and Tracey kept pushing every step of the way to get this completed. Tracey also kept me updated on a regular basis which helped tremendously. Thank you for all your help Tracey, you have been great.

Rightly or otherwise, I want to single out Louisa Forrester at Gem Estate Management for her courtesy and responsiveness to emails and calls in respect of on-going maintenance and cleanliness at our apartment in Worcester. I have met several contractors who have responded to calls put through by Louisa and during Lockdown, being at home all day, I have become aware just how responsive GEM Estate Management, emphasised by being able to effect repairs and maintenance at such a difficult time.

I can only speak as I find. A delivery van badly damaged the roof of the underpass to the car park. Although it too a few weeks to repair the damage an excellent job was done and left the place tidy.

Worst management agency ever , my block of flats had a arson attack it’s been 2 months they still haven’t fixed the issue my tenant is now homeless , I now found out their fire risk assessment failed in February . They where adviced to replace fire doors along with electrical cupboards doors to which they didn’t and when arson happened I been told the electrical cupboard was burnt down due to them not installing correct fire doors . Authorities must start looking at this company before there is another grenfell

Tried to contact them to fix the roof leaking problem, the first e-mail was sent back in February, till now, nearly September , nothings fixed, and the problem's getting worse.

Every time I call the manager directly, he promised they will arange workers to solve the problem, but then, nothing happens, he didn't even reply to my email, almost like they're fooling me around.

With nearly £2000 service charge per year, this is not the kind of service that should be accepted.

This Company Manages property on behalf of Managing Agents and Tenants and they were exemplary during the height of the COVID 19 Crisis. They provided regular up to date information about the situation and made many suggestions down to doing online courses from Harvard University. They arranged some younger Tenants to offer to do shopping for older ones or disabled ones and we all felt as if we had someone on our side and sharing the situation with us. They offered to put those feeling isolated in touch with others and it was exceptional care and concern that was without a doubt genuine. This level of service and support was way beyond their remit but they will come out of this crisis on top and we all feel grateful to them. Only fair my compliments made to them have a wider audience.
