Arrived damaged and unusable
The Furo X Max ordered in August finally arrived on 28 December. However, it arrived damaged (scratches and some chipped paint), presumably occurring during transit. Moreover, the locking mechanism to secure the frame would not engage so the bike was unusable. We immediately contacted Furo sending photos of the damage and the latch mechanism.
Now a reputable company would have asked for the defective product to be returned and then supplied a new one. Failing that they would suggest taking it to a bicycle repair shop and they would cover the costs of the repairs. Unfortunately this was not the case.
They suggested an adjustment to the latch. That didn’t work as the part fouling the pin was not adjustable - clearly visible on the photos. They then suggested, and eventually supplied, a new latch. Once we fitted that the bike frame did lock in place. Comparison of the two latches shows that the faulty one has a different shape and dimensions.
How a folding bike that could not be locked into place was ever sent out to a customer has not been explained. That is the most fundamental operation and if that is a reflection of their quality control then we wonder what has actually been tested and whether the bike is even safe to ride.
Email correspondence with customer support has been polite but very slow. They appear to expect the customer to carry out the repairs but do not supply the necessary tools. They can’t even supply paint and a repair kit for the damage.
For the inconvenience and damage they have offered £30, less than 2% of the purchase price. Naturally we do not consider this adequate, as for such a ‘shop soiled’ product the normal discount would be 10-20%. We would prefer to have a new, pristine, working bike, and have asked for this.
We last wrote 10 days ago and have still not received a reply.
We certainly will never purchase anything from this company ever again.

j'ai acheté un trottinette fuze chez furo systems il y a plus de deux ans et j'en suis a ce jour encore enchantée, elle est solide, rapide, super maniable, très stable c'est un bon achat et je viens de commandé des nouveaux freins, livraison un peu lente mais raison covid on comprends c'est dans tout les domaines .

Excellent ebike at a great price !
I found the experience of purchasing my Aventa as excellent as the bike .
It’s given me a new found freedom to get out and go further . Great assistance from the motor when needed and not too heavy to use the bike without it.
Delivery was very quick with full tracking , building the bike was very easy and I’ve done over 50 miles in the first week . Great value as well.
The bike will now be used for everyday use and longer leisure trips .
Overall pleased but many little niggles
I have been using my Furox for a year now. I like way the bike rides but I have had quite a few annoyances with it.
Battery lock broke, repaired by Furosystems
Lost a front wheel spoke, repaired by Furosystems
Had a very creaky back wheel caused by loose spokes, took it to a bike shop to have them tightened
Some if the top bit of the battery has broken off.
Now one of the peddles is feeling unstable worried that that will break soon.
Front light the batteries move around so it cuts out.
Generally a quality bike but it is a shame that it was not checked in the UK before being sent out, the spoke and gear tuning issues, and poor quality extras.
Furo-X performance.

My Lycra clad colleagues had a few problems keeping up with my leisurely ride! The indicator handlebar switch is not fit for purpose and needs redesigning. Too loose, too hard to operate with gloves on, not bright enough to communicate with rider when on.
Bike finally arrived, incomplete and ignored.
I ordered my furo X back in August and didn't receive it until the 23rd of December. I was excited to finally receive my bike but was disappointed to find it missing the electronic indicator system on the battery. I have tried to reach out to furo and have been ignored, I have still not riden the bike. Based on my experience so far, their customer service is lacking and I couldn't recommend them.

Very happy with avanta bike , great performance, probably most pleasing to the eye as most ebikes are very bulky and heavy , delivery was excellent just as stated, correspondence was very quick with answers within the hour , excellent company to deal with ,

Loving my Furo fuze max scooter
Loving my Furo fuze max scooter. Would love someone to help me remove the limiter though as it’s only going 15mph in gears 2 and 3. Have read the owners manual and gone to setting P15 as stated and changed setting to 100, 40 and 25 yet it will never go 25mph only 15, maybe there’s a certain number I need to set it to?

Long wait but great bike
I had to wait almost 5 months for my bike to arrived so I was a bit disappointed about the lack of clarity from the company concerning the length of the shipping.However, the bike is amazing, a truly awesome piece of technology, so I’m happy I waited as the product is faultless, very smooth ride , outstanding quality,I’m very happy with my choice of bike.
Well worth the wait!
This is a fantastic product - we bought the folding bike. It was a bit tricky keeping track of progress - had to keep going back to the email from Furosystems and clicking on the tracking link. On delivery day UPS gave us a four hour estimated delivery slot - so as it hadn’t arrived half an hour later we went out - and they turned up then! Delivery took 5 months - but I expected that having read other reviews.
Numerous faults with the bike
Numerous faults with the bike. Never had this many issues in the past. Lack of attention to customers. I had to do all the chasing. They tell me to collect the repaired bike on a date and the office is closed. I get that Covid is an issue but they could at least let you know. They seemingly don’t care once they have your money

Trusting you are the supplier of the bike must have at least a record of which bike goes to which customer. Like serial numbers, scanned receipts and all.
Ordered a FuroX - 6 months and still no bike
Ordered a FuroX in July and at the time of order it was due for delivery in August.
August came and tracking then showed September, then moved to October. Contacted Furo Systems and told they have parts delayed from Shimano but will be ready in a few weeks. Checked tracking again with still no bike and an update of 2/3weeks?? Contacted and was told they are waiting now on batteries!!! But production is ready and once parts arrive they will turn around production quickly.
Next update was another 2/3 weeks and they now have production delays. With a hope they will be shipping before Xmas.
No idea about the quality of the bike but the company itself seems to be poorly managed and communications to their customers is horrible. I’ve still not received a single update from Furo without me chasing.
The bikes look great but I’d suggest looking elsewhere at other brands over these guys.
Very helpful company
Very helpful company. When our two bikes arrived by courier one of the boxes was badly damaged and I expected the worst. However only one part was missing...oddly enough the part was missing from the undamaged box, go figure. My husband put both bikes together and we went out for our first ride. Everything perfect until I went over a couple of bumps and the brakes started binding, making a lovely cacophony of sound. Called into our local bike shop who gave the brakes a minor sort out and problem solved.
Contacted the company regarding the missing part and brake problem which they compensated me for with no quibbles.
Thoroughly enjoying the electric bike experience after years on a manual bike! A pleasure to ride and super simple to work.
