The products are of excellent quality and competitively priced, and the purchasing experience was smooth and pleasant. My sofa has now been delivered and I’m very happy with it. The delivery of my mattress has also been booked, which has improved the overall experience significantly.

Overall, I’m very satisfied and would happily give a 5-star rating.

I tried ringing to confirm delivery dates. Both times I waited ages on a recorded message eventually giving up. I then had to make a special journey into the store to speak to someone personally.
Regarding the actual delivery, the guys who delinvered our furniture were very friendly and professional

My best buy: Reclining Chair with lumbar support. We were well guided and salesperson knew exactly what i was looking for as I have severe arthritis in my left hip. On delivery it was well assembled. Thank you for my wonderful new buy.

Purchased furniture on 28 December 2025. First attempt at delivery was in April 2026. Delivery team refused to carry furniture up stair case. Stair case average size for London home. Pure laziness I expect. Attempted to resolve the issue by agreeing to pay more for a 'flat pack' version of the furniture + fee for assembly. Flat pack was delivered about a month later. Included wrong colour items and assembly team did not have the equipment or materials to assemble the furniture. Again, had to take another day off for a third visit a few weeks later for correct colour item to be delivered and all items to be assembled. Furniture assembled but with massive and whole in side panel which would have been obvious to the assembly team. Now told that replacement for the wardrobe will be delivered in 2 - 3 weeks.....yet another day stuck at home to hang around in the hope they finally get it right. Don't buy your furniture from here .... I should have gone to John Lewis

Beautiful table and chairs, super quality. It’s delivered on time and unpacked very nicely and fast.

During the purchasing of my bed all was went well the sales assistant called the people appointed by you and asked them if the can deliver the bed and when, the date was set for Monday 8/6/26. On this day l had to take a day off from work so to receive my delivery. The delivering people called to confirm that they were going to deliver and ha a few jobs to do. At 1840 hours the called to say they could not fulfill the agreement and they were going to do so first thing in the morning the following day 9/6/26 the l had to arrange again being off from work to wait for them in which they turned up in the evening around 1700 hours. I was so 😡 mad first l created my room for a bed to be delivered and then had to sleep on the couch and the went on to loose a days work due to false promises. Currently l am so disappointed by all this and my days wages went down the drain due the empty promises yet you want your full amount of payment to the product. I have not been to speak to the manager because my temper is not on the right place l am struggling to calm my self at the moment.

One Star is for post sale care! It matters how problems are handled the sofa frame has broken, that's a problem!

Telephone lines have queues too long for me to wait for them to answer and on the one occasion I spoke to a human, I was asked to email the team and those (multiple) emails continue to go unanswered after weeks passing!

Otherwise, product is ok and another issue i had was resolved by Guardmans within days - Guardsman service was excellent.

Had a really good experience with Jimmy Carey he was super helpful and knowledgeable and looked after us really well, the bed arrived today after only placing the order on Saturday gone by.

We buy all of our furniture from this store and will continue to do so going forward

The sofa only took less than a week to arrive , very happy with it , the delivery men were polite careful and knowledgable .friendly too .

Jimmy was fantastic from start to finish. He was very welcoming and gave us plenty of space to browse and find what we needed without feeling pressured. When we had questions, he was incredibly helpful with choosing colours and discussing different layout options, making the whole process much easier.

His knowledge, patience, and advice gave us great confidence throughout the sale, and we felt comfortable with every decision we made. Excellent customer service and a genuinely positive experience. I would highly recommend visiting the store and asking for Jimmy if you’re looking for new furniture.

I have contacted the customer care service for furniture village several times and the experience has been very hit and miss some have been positive and helpful others unhelpful and rude however I spoke with Lola on Friday 5th June and she not only was very helpful but she managed to solve my issue with my furniture by offering a re selection to replace our sofa the conversation was very polite and I am happy with the outcome.

Extremely poor service. Furniture delivered damaged. Once they have received payment, they do not want to know anything about it. Have spoken to customer service, main office. All as bad as each other. Cannot get money back until collected, collection booked, but nobody turned up despite me taking a day off to facilitate the removal. Will be taking this forward and putting in a claim against the company. Delivery was just as bad with the order being sent to wrong delivery centre and sitting there for weeks with no communication.

We were able to comfortably place an order for a very good price with an affordable payment plan thanks to Marky Pitt who is one of the sales advisors in Reading FV. Customer support is also good despite the huge waiting time and Kiran from the support team has been very helpful in tracking and sorting out our after sales support queries.

Dining table delivered but it's wobbly. I've been to the store twice to sort it and still waiting for someone to call and confirm when it will be fixed despite being told someone was coming out. I must say the sales rep was brilliant but the after service has ruined the experience.

We dealt with a gentleman called Jimmy, who was very friendly and extremely helpful in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. He went out of his way to sort the bed frame and mattress that we wanted. He explained everything to us in detail so we fully understood. We would recommend this store and Jimmy is credit to furniture village.

Mo was great no pressure selling and very helpful

Very well displayed showroom with plenty of choice and price ranges. Had already visited a couple of times as it takes time to ensure right decision. Was initially helped by Marky but he was due to transfer to a different store so today I was assisted by Mohsin Khan, again very helpful, gave you time and didn't make you feel under pressure, much like Marky. Purchasing process was straightforward and fully explained. Overall, a very positive experience.
