Furniture Village - Gateshead Omdömen 

Very very bad experience.I purchased four products they two products has complaint I send the email and three times visits the Gateshead outlet also teams are playing I feel.very very shameful am purchasing the furniture here

i bought a settee chair and stool, in december 2025 in january 2026i informed them that a spring in the settee was broken and two of the casters were also broken . they replaced the casters one was sent in the post and we had to replace this ourselves, some time later the other one was changed. nothing said about the spring so phoning them a lot and messaging lots finally got them to change the settee for a new one, that was great it is now august and iam still waiting for this when their agreed to change it was 11 weeks ago, i have messaged them twice and no reply i fell like i am back to square one with them, what can i do now? it cost me £3800 so was not cheep i fell like i just want my money back for something that is not fit for purpose.

Everything was great, and very informative about the sofas

I loved that no one came up as soon as i walked through the door and asked could they help. They did however, noticed i was disabled and told me where everything was, and informed me where there was a lift to get upstairs.

Anja was attentive but not pushy, very helpful and obliging ,answered all questions I had ,lovely experience and she is a credit to the store

Donna responded by telephone to my email within 24hrs . Donna presented as being very pleasant and efficient.She then promptly confirmed the conversation we had via email. The level of care we have received from Furniture Village After care has been fantastic Faultless.Pathway of dealing with customer problems is second to none.
I have to take this opportunity to commend ever member of Furniture Village staff I have had contact with.

I could not have wished for better service.

Had a good shop experience but bed was faulty and replacement was ordered. They had also delivered wrong coloured headboard ! Heard nothing for several weeks. Phoned the 0191 numbers but no one available 3 times left a message as all I was able to do. NO ONE got back to me
so phoned main number. Was told option 2 which I chose as waiting for delivery is actually the Warehouse. I should have picked option 1 the shop . So I said perhaps rename the choices !!! I was told
I was not the first one to complain about this and to flag it up and you had flagged it up but it had not been taken up and changed. Perhaps you should listen to your staff who have to deal with queries like this. Now been told the bed is not being made anymore and you have written to the company on more than one occasion asking if they can produce one or not would’ve been a good idea to have kept the customer informed. The lady I dealt with now was helpful, but what’s gone on has done you no favours hence the star rating.

Kev and Steve delivered my new dining table and chairs and were fabulous. On time, careful courteous and fast! They also answered all my questions about the extendable table -Thanks Kev n Steve I will use furniture village again

Seen the sofa online the day before, so went to see it in store and I wasn’t disappointed. Real lovely quality sofa, had a lovely sales assistant Rosie serving me. And we went through the colours and the payment methods and she was very helpful and knowledgeable.

I have bought a few sofas from you. I think Furniture Village furniture are very well made and reasonably priced.

We visited Furniture Village at Retail Park Metrocentre on 6th September. A very pleasant gentleman called Ammo met us and offered us coffee while we browsed. He was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information which enabled us to make a decision. Went to buy a 3 seater sofa and ended up with a 3 & a 2 seater. I say job well done 👍

The salesman, Lorne, was very helpful and attentive. He didn’t hurry us to make a decision and we were happy to deal with him upon our return to purchase our table and chairs once we had measured up.

Went in for a dining table and chairs last week. Went back this week for 2 armchairs and a footstool.
Craig is a pleasure to deal with, as is Nick the store manager. The warehouse team were a delight to have on the phone. Service was non intrusive but helpful. Everyone is approachable and knowledgeable and there’s no pressure sales at all.
