Excellent service. Helpful and not at all 'pushy'. Answered all questions and gave me plenty of time/space to make a decision.

I didn't get the lady's name but believe she is the new store manager (Farnborough)

We have had 5 star treatment both times we have visited the Farnborough store - Today we had a huge amount of help and advice from Boroka Sebisi - she is an excellent salesperson and we would like to thank her very much

I am very pleased with the Service provided by Boroka. She was extremely helpful and professional, and she helped me select the ideal dining tables and chairs for my family. I felt like I got the best value for the price. I highly recommend Furniture Village.

We popped into Farnborough Furniture Village to get some ideas for our new home and was greeted by Christopher Duncan on entry. He was absolutely amazing His product knowledge was fantastic as well as his ideas.
And although we did explain that we hadn’t moved yet so weren’t buying anything then and there he didn’t shrug his shoulders and walk off he stayed with us throughout showing us all the products we were interested. We are definitely coming back to Furniture Village to get our furniture which will be sofas, bed/mattress, table and chairs and light fitting. Thank you Chris

I had an issue with a stool I purchased and to be honest was struggling to get an adequate response. However I managed to call and get through to Fatima.

She was fantastic. She listened to the issue, apologised for the delay in resolving and promised to investigate and get back to me. Although I had been given this commitment before I knew from her tone, empathy and professional approach that she would take control of the issue. Sure enough, I got a call within 48 hours with a suitable solution.

Fatima should be commended as a true customer care professional. Thank you Fatima.

Today (10/4/2026), I telephoned customer services (14th in the que) and waited about 20 minutes before speaking to an agent. The call centre was very noisy in the background and it made it hard to hear the conversation clearly at times but we got there in the end.

The agent Naj was very helpful and found my previous email that I had sent on 16/03/2026 re an issue with my Daytona settee making squeaking noises when someone one was sitting on it moved about e.g. using the recliner etc.

Naj has now arranged for a Company to contact me next week re resolving the noisy settee free of charge. So fingers crossed this will be resolved soon and I'll be a happy customer.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

We bought some furniture about 20 months ago. It was the sumptuous range, a sofa and footstall.

The footstall has been sagging for a while but I was unable to see inside it so couldn’t tell if something was fundamentally wrong. Today the footstall snapped clean in half, ripping the fabric and lining. I spoke to customer services who asked for a number of photos, which I provided. Apparently after looking at the photos they have made a number of assumptions and have deemed that it’s not covered by any structural guarantee and there’s “nothing they can do about it”.

This footstall is not a cheap bit of furniture and lasted under 2 years. We have another footstall from another brand which is now approaching 10 years old and still going strong.

In summary:

Furniture village are quick to take your money with very poor customer service or after sales support

The furniture is expensive and very poor quality underneath it all

Their guarantee is totally worthless although they make a big song and dance about it during the sales process

I am now stuck with a large footstall which has snapped in half which I have to dispose of.

Would not recommend at all. Please avoid this company and their overpriced, poor quality furniture at all costs. There are plenty of other retailers who offer much better quality products, decent after sales support at better prices.

Even though they have followed up below, this is obviously just for show. They are unwilling and unable to help. Totally useless.

I walked into the store & was pleasantly welcomed by Boroka who was great & super kind. She was quick to narrow down my options and gave me time to have a look and be very patient as I made my decision. I am so glad she was the one who said hello to me as I am leaving with a brand new sofa & dining table. Thank you for your patience, professional nature & efficient service.

Really welcoming, checked in to see what I was looking for and suggested some alternatives that could fit. Not pushy just informative and friendly.

Excellent service from Cris Sargeant who went out of his way to help us, particularly in organising the delivery of our sofa around our moving in date. I went to Furniture Village last week to look for a mattress.
Syan Satwinder the sales consultant helped me look and lay on the mattresses.
Her knowledge of the products were impressive.
Syan never rushed me and when i said i needed to go away and think about it she never once tried to get me to buy before leaving the store. As a result, i felt i was able to process all the information once back at home.
I then returned today and spoke with Syan saying which mattress i liked. To make sure i was comfortable with my choice she suggested i try out a different mattress for comparison and it confirmed i had picked the right one. With this confidence i had made the right choice i went ahead and ordered it from Syan.
I was very impressed with her knowledge and relaxed ‘no sales push’ approach and thats why i decided to buy from her. She represented your company very professionally.

I have recently purchased two items of furniture from FVs Cashmere range. The Sales Consultant was Boroka Sebesi. Ms Sebesi was a pleasure to deal with. Hugely knowledgeable and passionate in regards to the products, showing me various items that may be of interest but without the hard sales tactics. Friendly, approachable and cheerful. There are a number of stores in that area of Farnborough to choose from, FV being the most welcoming. My items are being delivered in just over a week. A huge thank you to Ms Sebisi. She is an asset to the store.
