Ordered a staggered delivery, Colombian first, Black Knight 3-5 weeks later. Confirmed this with support twice. Both bags showed up at the same time anyway.

When I emailed to fix it, I was told I have to pay for the return label, boxes, and shipping out of my own pocket, for their mistake. Called support, same answer.

You can't drink 4lbs of coffee in a month without it going stale. So either I waste the beans or I pay to return an order that was fulfilled incorrectly. Not acceptable. Shop elsewhere if you care about your order being right.

Purchased 2-2 pound bags of Colombian coffee from Amazon, ordered whole bean they sent ground...not a problem I thought until I went to use it. These bags of coffee has a roast date of 26/005 and an expiration date of 12/2026. I opened the first bag to use on 2/25/2026. No matter what I do I cannot get a good tasting pot. I use 1.2 liters water and have tried everywhere from 45-66 grams of coffee. Coffee from bag smells fine. Brewed coffee has a metallic/chemical taste that lingers. It is not my water or the brewer other coffees brew fine. I contacted Amazon but they will not refund or replace because it was past their 30 day return policy. So I turned to Fresh Roasted Coffees customer service. This coffee is horrid. I have purchased your Colombian coffee in whole bean form from Amazon in the past without any problems. I have one unopened bag and one bag that i have used about 300 grams from or about 1/3 of a bag. I am asking for a replacement of the full 2 pound bag and a partial replacement of the other like a 12 oz bag with whole bean. When I use your whole bean Colombian I use 1.2 liters of filtered water and 66 grams of coffee ground to approximately 730-750 microns in a Cuisinart CPO850 brewer with a bleached white Melitta #4 paper filter. 66 grams is a max dose for this brewer and when using your whole bean (or any others) comes out very satisfying. But these bags of ground are just terrible.
Just to verify and take all the variables out of what I was doing I gave my neighbor some of the coffee and told them to prepare it the way they would normally brew their coffee, and tell me what they thought, not giving them any additional information... They came up with almost the same results, a strange lingering metallic/chemical taste. Fresh Roasted Coffees response was not our problem, we have no control over what you do. See Amazon for a return/replacement. After several online chats with Amazon they finally refunded the purchase price, however here is my recommendation. Stay clear of Fresh Roasted Coffee llc. When there is a problem, they will not stand behind their product. I accept Fresh Roasted Coffees decision but I will never purchase their product again and recommend that no one else does either. For them not to replace 2 bags of coffee for a long time customer is just bad business. And they lost a customer because of it.

I'm the head brewer at a small brewery in NC. We use Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC in our award-winning Coffee Blonde. I chose this company after sampling LOADS of other coffee in my spare personal time. They knock it out of the park consistently. Every different blend delivers in quality and tasting points. Customer service is fantastic & their pricing is pretty unbeatable for the quality. I might have to move to PA when I retire!! I recommend these guys to everyone I know. Keep up the great work.

They are not selling fresh roasted beans. For fresh roasted espresso beans there should be some oil left on the bean itself. The beans I received yesterday have been sitting in a warehouse for over a month. Read the 1-star reviews for this company and you will get the picture. Maybe the 5-stars are from that Nigerian prince.

This company is a stone cold scam.

I've been ordering roasted coffee beans from Fresh Roasted for a number of years.
I always receive my order on time and packaged in a resealable bag that keeps my beans fresh until my next order.
In addition their customer sevice and communication is great.
Fresh Roasted Coffee is a great company to deal with!

Great coffee and really the only good option for those who like very fresh coffee at good prices. You can pick your favourite origin and roast. Mine is Brazil medium dark or Guatemala. I noticed they had poor reviews so I thought I would share my good experience. I have ordered from them many times over a period of 6 years.

Fresh Roasted Coffee, LLC has a delightful webpage and positive reviews. Because of it, I ordered a 96 K-cup flavored coffee variety pack. Unfortunately, I didn't like the coffee and contacted them one day after arrival to return it for a refund. When I did, they told me, "...we are unable to process returns or exchanges for products that have been opened or partially used". I read the return policy before ordering and the first line of their policy states, "If you are unsatisfied with your coffee or tea purchase from freshroastedcoffee.com for any reason, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your delivery". After getting their email, I looked again and saw the third paragraph which says, "To receive a full refund, all unused product(s) must be returned, unopened and in the original packaging, at the customer’s expense."

Maybe it's just me, but IMHO, every single remaining K-cup (94 of them which they haphazardly threw in a box), ARE still unopened, in their original packaging, and can be resold. They just refuse to do so. And even if there is some federal health issue with returns, they could still refund my $$ but choose not to.

Nothing infuriates me more than a company that doesn't stand behind their product. This coffee is weak and tastes bad, at least to me. If it were an opened bag of ground coffee, I might understand. But I don't understand a company that isn't willing to stand behind their product and make their customers satisfied. And to add insult to injury, they ignored my subsequent email asking to reconsider. So the bottom line is, DON'T TAKE A CHANCE WITH FRESH ROASTED COFFEE, LLC because if you don't like it, you're screwed.

Scam! They lie about delivery time

They took my money, allowed me to pay extra for “2-day shipping” and after 9 days I have nothing. I had planned to have it delivered to where I was staying on business because the product tastes great, however I contacted customer service 5 times and I was ignored, the shipping was done whenever they felt Like it, even though I was a return customer ordering cases of their product in the past. So if you want to buy from a company where they ignore problems and basically scam you with saying 2 day shipping and taking your money, then do what I did so you can write a review like this and have your money wasted and the product sent to an empty house!
