if i would give this company less then one stars i would.

i started to rent from freedom home last October, in the time between then and march i had always paid my rent on time and made one noise complaint (as i lived in a house share). late march i reported that the bathroom ceiling was leaking through the lights. i spent several phone calls waiting on hold after being told i would get phone calls back but received nothing. After being told they would try and get someone out before the weekend on the Friday evening i was then told they couldn’t find anyone to come out. I was then told on the monday morning someone would be out the same day, after a couple of hours i rang to confirm what time someone would be out to be told the person coming could no longer attend due to a family emergency. After being on hold and being lied to by several members of staff i was getting very frustrated, the bathroom was unsuitable as water was leaking through the lights and there is no windows to the bathroom. I asked for them to pay for alternative accommodation to be told no we wouldn’t do that. Rent was due next day and when i advised i wouldn’t pay it miraculously someone was at the property 30 minutes later and fixed the problem.

In June i decided due to this poor experience i would find another property to live in after advising them at the end of June/start of July i would be leaving the property at the end of august they then tried to con me out of my deposit and more. they advised i would need to pay for a re letting fee and i would also have to pay rent for the property until another tenant was fount, numerous calls and emails of them saying that’s there policy and it was in my contract, i asked them to prove where in my contract it was stated and they couldn’t show me.

After fighting with Beth Bainbridge and Amy Shearing advising if they tried to take my deposit for any other reason then property damage i think they finally realised they were in the wrong.

I have now moved out of the property and have received and email to advise i will be receiving my deposit back.

Before leaving the property they had arranged viewing for the property without my knowledge, luckily i was there when the first person to show the potential tenants arrived and i had get the viewing cancelled. i asked why i wasn’t told and the excuse was the person who booked it Bianca is an assistant from the Philippines so she didn’t do things the way they would have in branch.

this company has been nothing but a nightmare, stay as far away from them as possible.

I was going to purchase an apartment…

I was going to purchase an apartment through them in Caroline Springs yesterday. When I had my conveyancer check the contract and Section 32, it was full of red flags. No wonder then wanted me to officially sign the formal offer first and then get my conveyancer to look at it.

The paper work was all over 15 months old, not recent at all. There was a clause saying I was responsible for a claim/ charge on the property.

They were adding an extra Levi to raise over $50k to fix a roof.

Another Levi to upgrade the exhaust system as it wasn't adequate if there was a fire.

When I questioned the real estate agent, he said the apartment was on the market for 3 months, not 15 ( obviously a lie). He said they were preparing a new section 30 ( again, why give me an old one and say nothing).
Then he said I was given the wrong paper work, it was for another apartment.
So totally untrustworthy, no morals and happy to screw you over for a quick sale.

If I had signed, I would of been up for a fortune in repairs and charges that I was unaware off.

So worth having an honest conveyancer to check these dodgy real estate agents works and scams.

Taken for a ride

I booked a viewing with at least two confirmations from Freedom Homes. A time was arranged. I walked up the street and had a phone call. The studio had been taken. Excuse me? I had travelled up from London and booked a B&B.
However, she (Angel?) said she had two other studios, much nicer. Yes of course - and a higher rent.
How disgusting and unethical. I clicked off the phone call.

really slow action on all fronts

really slow action on all fronts. take the cash then slow, no contact. asked for refund, again slow, have to hound them, still waiting. poor customer communication. non caring. obviously a common occurence as no one answers the phone. But I got very quick action once I started making noise. It really would be more professional if they had processes, staff and intention to refund in a speedy manner without the need for me to contact them in person and on every front.

Horrendous experience

Whoever you are and if you are considering this company. DON’T and be careful. After the longest waiting period for a build (almost 2 years) these people are the worst in informing, communication and any sense of support.
They are great at making sure the money gets paid only to run off without a notice of update or Comms. I’ve lost thousands on interest waiting for them and they have ruined my financial circumstances without a care.
Don’t be shafted like me. This is my warning ⚠️ shame on you @freedompropertyinvestors for your negligence to your customers!!!

Don't be fooled by big promises

I was attracted by the flashy promises of this company. Initially I was very impressed by their professional and they seemed to really know their subject material. However, as I went on, I discovered many flaws with investing with their company. They are heavily skewed towards the developers' best interests, to the point where these will take precedence over their own. I was hurried into making deposits, but was not told that this would affect my ability to have my membership returned from the 60 day money back guarantee. I was not told there was terms and conditions at every stage. Once I decided not to go through with investments due to issues that were not disclosed to me by my strategist, I have been waiting over 6 weeks to have any money returned from this company, my strategist has since disappeared and it has been extremely challenging getting any answers from this company. They are only interested when you are making them money. I would avoid at all costs. There are much better property companies out there to invest with who will take better care of you and be more transparent about terms and conditions and where your money is going. When I asked for a refund of my membership they requested I sign a deed of release, which is further proof that they are not a reputable company.

cleaning and maintenance below standard

This company had been responsible for the cleaning and Maintenance of the property and properties at Jardin del sol, 3 The cleaners need to take more attention to detail, they leave areas uncleaned, Patios un sweapt etc. The Maintenance men should have sorted out a cockroach problem and didnt, the general garden areas again are well below standard. The management staff when asking for a report to be sent by email to confirm to an owner of a problem just havent just dont bother even when asked two to three times informing owner of issues like Dangerous electrics and
have not bothered notifying owner of issue of security ie about blocked fire exits (bars over fire exits) out of date fire extinguishers.
Owners pay the company to have their property looked after and ready for rental clients so they arrive with hopefully no issues.
