Over the moon on a mattress
I was talked through the different options when i contacted The Foam Shop as i hadn't had a memory foam mattress on my boat before. I opted for a fitted cover as well, this is so well made and better than anything you could buy of the shelf. The mattress was cut from my template (complex) it fits to the mm & is as so comfy. In this day and age it is so nice to receive a product that far exceeds your expections. Thanks so much. Allan Stubbs, Shipwright Services Ltd.

TERRIBLE and rude customer service
TERRIBLE and rude customer service! I tried to cancel my order within a few hours of placing it and it was impossible to speak to anyone. When I finally spoke to someone they refused to cancel the order and offered me a partial refund instead. The foam inserts were a made to measure product but there is no way these would have been made wihin the time frame between order and contact. I was very unhappy with the attitude of the person I spoke to and the outcome. I would NOT recommend this company and felt very upset by the whole experience.

Customer placed an order online. For a bespoke product, Made to measure items orders do not have the same cancelation rights as off the shelf items.
All orders have lead-times they are normally 1 to 7 working days 1 to 14 working days and so on.
Some orders are completed at the start of the lead time some closer to the end. However all orders are produced within the published lead time.
The customer tried to cancel on the bases that after some refection the furniture was not worth the expense of replacing the cushions.
As the order was in production the opportunity to cancel had passed so instead we offered a partial refund as we had already produced the order for the customer
We always try to be helpful in these circumstances. even though we went to the expense of making the goods to the customer specification.
To be honest i am rather annoyed at this undeserved review.
Fantastic experience
I had a fantastic experience. Mark was very helpful anytime I phoned and they even managed to push my order through quickly for an upcoming trip. The bespoke mattress I ordered for my van conversion has been perfect. The V38 Firm Foam with 1"memory foam is very comfortable as someone who likes a Firmer mattress. I will certainly be ordering again for my seat cushions.

The product was great but with caveats.
The product was great and met all our expectations but the order wasnt delivered until the day before we left and we didn’t have time to make the covers. We sent bespoke templates with our order and plenty of time to complete it but they didn’t respond to our emails and it was difficult getting through by phone. When we did get through they realised they HAD received the templates and pulled the stops out to get the order to us. Sometimes things like this happen.

Thanks for the review. I am not 100% sure about this but i think there was an issue tying up the templates with the order. Once we were able to put the template with the order we got the goods out next day.
Could we ask that when templates are sent that customer write there name and contact number on them to help us match them to the specific order. Like i said not 100% sure if this was the case here, however it is a common issue with templates and cushions covers being received that on occasion customer don't include enough info to match the template of covers to the order

I have rang the sales number that just goes to answer machine.
Rang customer service and the same an answer machine left messages on both NO RESPONCE.
Customer service is no excitant. no responce from email either........buy from somewhere else!!!!

I have spoken to customer and advised will resend on Monday
All emails received, generate an instant response advising a reply within 1 business day

Better than my bed at home!
I ordered 4 to make up 2 seats that become a bed in my custom campervan. I am more than happy with them, they are comfy, well made and a perfect size.
