Very poor service. They charge a very high price for diagnostics. And then over quote for the repairs. Every time I've used them they have come up with a quote for over £1500 worth of repairs most of which were not needed.ive ended up paying over £600 today for work that would have been done for £150 by any local garage. And still come away with the faults I wanted investigating. The staff are very pleasent but then a pickpocket would smile while robbing you.

Fitch Autos has just completed specialist repair &maintenance on my Jaguar XF car. From the initial enquiry to the completed job this company and its staff have been magnificent throughout. The customer service particularly was exemplary and doubtful you would find better. Well done Fitch Autos

I first came across Fitch Autos a couple of years ago after searching for a garage that could sort out DPF, EGR and other problems that caused my dashboard to be lit up like a Christmas Tree with fault lights! (My usual garage couldn't or didn't want to really fix the issues, having replaced the head gasket, which made no difference at all). At times my VW van (with over 330,000 miles) has had to limp its way to Fitch Autos, but they have always managed to sort it out. As the works needed for a good going over usually takes a couple of days, the use of a courtesy car is very much appreciated. When servicing and fixing a high mileage vehicle sometimes one repair or replacement shows up other issues needing further attention, and that is not a dissapointment or reflection on ability. On the most recent visit, all of the injectors were replaced and Wow, what a difference! The van can easily do 70mph up hill in 5th gear, full power and good MPG has been restored!. The support given by Fitch Autos during the service and other works has been absolutely brilliant, and Ellie and the recepition team are first class at giving good customer service and keeping in touch. Don't waste time and money, go to Fitch!

Thank you to all staff at Fitch Autos and a special mention to Ellie and Neil. Our Mercedes had been at a different garage and we had spent a fortune already without the vehicle been fixed, infact it had got worse! Fitch had the car a week but that included a bank holiday weekend and it was diagnosed correctly in around 4-5 hours. The car was back in full working order. Really good communications and excellent customer service all round

Professional service, regular text messages/phone calls informing progress. All staff are friendly, helpful and prices are reasonable.

They charged me £660 for investigation and nothing was fixed, took me car away exactly as I took it in, all image and no substance !
Still the receptionist called me ‘sweet’ so often that I nearly went back 😂

We took our 2016 Landrover Discovery 4 to Fitch Auto services on the 7th October 2025 for a Gearbox service (oil change ).
I had a phone call stating from them that they could'nt do the oil change as they had to remove the exhaust so they could remove the gearbox cover and filter didnt they realise before they looked at it that the exhaust brackets would be rusty after all it is an old car. After phoning a lot of gearbox specialist's it helps to remove the Exhaust but not necessary in my opinion they just did'nt want to do the car and only work on new cars. I would'nt trust FITCH AUTO'S to work on a toy car unless it was new. I had the similar issue with them when I took my 2017 jaguar Autobiography to them they had'nt got a clue what to do. totally useless people.

First class service from start to finish. My van was booked in, needed a fair bit of work doing to it, one of the jobs heater blower broken, originally went to a reputable dealership Evans Halshaw Wolverhampton 11th August and to this date they have never got back to me, appauling service from there. So took it to fitch Auto's. The Service was first class. Ellie was an diamond and i can't thank these guys enough. They were upfront with the work and costs. Explained everything and with all the work that needed doing completed in 3 days. Highly recommend them and will definitely be returning

SCAM GARAGE - Tried to tell me I needed a replacement engine for just shy of £8k. Was actually a timing belt which cost 1/10 of the quote from Fitch Autos...

I broke down on the M6 toll, my car just wouldn't start and I only had a 10 mile tow on my breakdown cover. The recovery driver recommended this 'great' garage and took us there. I was not from the area so I had to just trust him. The recovery driver and the receptionist both believe that it could be that the wetbelt on my vehicle had gone. A friend had had this recently so I knew this would be close to £1k on it's own. Fitch autos said that they most likely wouldn't be able to look at my vehicle until the following week. Low and behold, 2 hours later they had 'looked' at my vehicle and decided it needed a brand new engine which would cost me just shy of £8k, far more than my car is worth. The distress this caused and subsequent panic attack was one of the worst things I have experience and, not to mention, I had to pay £109 for this lie. Luckily, my father-in-law is an ex-mechanic. When I explained the situation, the first thing he told me is that as a TDI car, my vehicle doesn't even have a wet belt so for this to be suggested on first instance, he already felt they were targeting a captive audience. I paid for the vehicle to be towed to the garage that he uses frequently and they fixed the car for £741 in two days as it was a snapped timing belt and a few broken bolts. This is 1/10th of the cost I was quoted. Thank god I have someone who understands cars as, if I didn't, I either wouldn't have my car back (working soundly), would have had to fork out for a new car, or pay the ridiculous price that this SCAM garage quoted. NEVER USE THIS GARAGE. They will make you pay for the initial lie and bank on you not having any other options.

First time I used them they were good. After that they started advising I need random work done. Some were wheel camber/ brake discs and pads. I had this checked out by a BMW specialist and they said that bull. Even provided me with measurements for proof. Fitchautos exaggerate problems in the hope that you will just pay. They caught me out like this once before but I’m not falling for it again. Once you are comfortable with them they will give you some bull that you need extra work. I did give the woman a dressing down lol no pun intended. Their mechanics are melt’s sorry to say. Dodgy company they could be good but feed off your lack of knowledge about cars if you know nothing then your going to get taken to funky town.

Really happy with the services I received. The customer service is A+++ Ellie kept me informed of everything that needed to be done every step of the way. She also went above and beyond to help me decide which parts needed replacing as a priority.
Even though it's 40 minutes from where I live, you now have a customer for life. I wouldn't dream of taking my car anywhere else.

I recently had a very disappointing experience with this garage, which seems to be turning into another Servicing Stop. I took my car in to have a faulty battery replaced (I provided the battery) and requested that they diagnose the remaining fault codes after the replacement. Specifically, I mentioned fault codes related to water in the fuel, parking sensors, and the DPF, which have persisted even after the DPF was replaced.

They replaced the battery but failed to carry out the diagnostic work I requested. To make matters worse, they attempted to charge me £240 just for installing the battery I supplied. Their justification was a £171 charge for "testing" the battery—something I had already confirmed was dead! The business feels more like a call centre than a proper garage, with a clear focus on sales targets and commissions that seem to encourage the extortionate practices I experienced.

On top of this, they quoted me £2,000 for random repairs I never asked for. After a heated discussion, the salesperson reluctantly agreed to charge me £48—essentially for removing a bolt, fitting the battery, and clearing the fault codes (which reappeared anyway).

If you're looking for fair, honest service, I would strongly recommend avoiding this garage.

2 years in a row I've used Fitch autos for my Jag service and again couldn't fault the service from start to finish. Also had my MOT done at the same time. Excellent communication throughout and wouldn't turn to another garage going forward.

Also special mention to Eleanor who was my advisor from start to finish. Made the experience even better. Although all the girls in the office were so friendly.

So I had some rather extensive works done on a car I recently bought from an apparent AA rated garage.

The works included many dangerous issues with Tyres, brake discs and brakes, as well as the informed needed works around the cambelt due to age.

Fitch did an amazing job, in just 2 days.

Fast forward to today, I've just picked my car up, thinking I've gone insane, because both times I've checked my coolant, the level has dropped significantly, however a free pressure test at both hot and cold, as well as an exhaust test for "coolant" has proven there is no leak!

I didn't have to pay for these tests, nor did I pay for the courtesy car, only filing it back up with more fuel than I used (i can never get it right) :P

What a fantastic Garage and clearly customer focused 5/5.

I'm the complete opposite of a "car guy", while I "like" cars, I have little clue what's happening underneath the bonnet.

The explanation I got from the team facing the customers was fantastic and detailed and showcases their knowledge and confidence of what has been done and what it means, really amazing stuff.

I am a 40 years experienced chartered engineer, and so am quite picky about who looks after my cars. Fitch are quite simply the best garage I’ve used in 50+ years of motoring. There appears to be nothing they can’t fix, even when main dealers have given up. I and my family have used them for everything, including binding brakes, failed turbo, timing belt and water pump replacement, immobiliser fault, complete loss of engine oil and numerous etceteras. In fact more repairs than I can remember … oh, and routine servicing, which is definitely more thorough than main dealers. Prices are fair, and customer service is excellent.

If you are reading this— stop. Look no further, you have found the best, for honest, reliable and courteous service all round. Thank you. Doug Giddins

Amazing advice and service provided by Neil and the ladies, Skoda Burntwood attempted to rip me off for a cambelt and water pump change over £1007 quoted by Skoda Fitch Autos quoted £592 so a massive difference I will only be using Fitch Autos in future-it pays to check prices that main dealers try to charge you also Neil the fact you provide free courtesy cars is a massive plus please never change this and I think you will find most people will return them back with plenty of fuel in them for you.

I have always found Neil and the Team at Fitch to be Five Stars for knowledge, service and value for money. This was once again compounded by the speedy replacement of the PM sensor on my vehicle. I would not go anywhere else.

Had my Mercedes AClass serviced today which for starters was considerably cheaper than the Main stealer and in line with warranty problem with updating on line Mercedes’ service record to cut a long story short this was down to Mercedes and Fitch could have turned around and said not registered with Mercedes you will have to sort that out but no Eleanore spent time and made several phone calls to Mercedes and solved the problem full marks to Fitch Autos Eleanore Holly and the gang and apologies if I have spelt your name wrong — excellent service thank you I will be back for the B service 2024
