I was going into my email and I clicked…
I was going into my email and I clicked on something on there. And I gave my information and I did not know it was a spam. I called First Tech and let them know that I got spammed. They sent me a new debit card and then I called another representative and I explain to her what happened and she suggest I should get a loan they offered me for $200 and I wasn’t sure that I would get approved. I did the loan and I was approved. I was so happy for that that she helped me out to replace the money that I got spammed on. Really nice representative that helped me with that in the meantime, I’m waiting for the investigation for the money that was taken out of my account. While I’m waiting to find out about the $200 that was given to me for credit. I will pay my bills in the meantime.

Mixed Bag but helpful, friendly staff at Nimbus branch
First Tech has been great some of the time but sometimes it has been horrid. With recent hacking problems, the Nimbus branch staff worked hard to get our accounts set up again. When we applied for a new mortgage, the Wilsonville branch people made it happen easily. But communication amongst employees particularly with the Fraud Department could be very much improved. Two times I have dealt with them over the last five years, repeating the problem to a long line of receptionists who just pass my call along while making me feel like the culprit. I choose to use 1st Tech partly due to our over 40 years association. But it makes me rethink my bank affiliation when some employees are unresponsive. My conclusion is that 1st Tech as a larger organization with staff remotely handling things it is less friendly and efficient.

During my auto loan process I worked with about 6 different people at the Credit union. It was obvious by the answers I was getting that not everyone had a clear understanding of the loan process. I was often given completely different answers and had the loan process explained differently. In the long run it all worked out just fine.
