Fandango At Home is a joke! The rating system for my experience with this company doesn't warrant the use of a meteor, let alone a star. I have made more than 10 attempts to reset my password after my current one stopped working, with no luck. Fandango At Home customer service is about as useful as dirt on water, which is ... wait ... MUD! I have spent money on movies and cannot access them. Clearly this company needs to be sued for negligence. Now along with so many others, I am a victim of this unscrupulous company
They swindled me out of $50.82
They swindled me out of $50.82, because of exchanges and then the cost of 3 tickets that has to go into Fandango in store credit, bc of a child illness (flu). I was on the phone with several representatives. One rep. Hung up on me, after telling me their system error was my fault, because I tried to access the money that I had in in-store credit, too many times, when I got the system glitch on first attempt. It would not let me use the $50.82 to re-purchase 3 tickets at a theater, to watch captain america, when my son was well. We would still have 1 other ticket in fandango credit, remaining ($16.94). So I thought, maybe I try to go IMAX, and use up the funds on a more expensive outing. Tried that for two tickets, added $3.00 to match what was owed, and the system glitched and would not let me purchase the tickets, though it went all the way through the process and showed the credit going to the purchase of the 2 IMAX tickets. So the problem for escalated twice. I heard back from them, the first time, and they had blocked my Account and card. They unblocked the account, not the card, and when I went back into the system, my balance was $0.00. They tell ME, the person that has been calling and emailing them, the person that still has not watched captain America with his kids, that fandango owes me nothing! Their system shows I have a ZERO balance! But that’s ok, we know what KARMA IS! And, I’ll make sure my friends and my friends’ friends know to NEVER USE FANDANGO for anything. They are liars, thieves, and crooks.

Horrible horrible scammy site. Ordered a popcorn bucket compbo for my kid with movie ticket. Charged and confirmed that they received order but never sent the ticket. I am trying to resolve so my kid can see the movie he wants and now they want me to send credit card statements to show the charge...their own email showing they charged me wasnt enough. On top of that I was trying to get my kid into the premiere and now I am waiting for their 3 days for them to "get back to me." Never use Fandango

I ended up out over $67.00 for a movie I could not even watch. Their app did not work and they never sent a confirmation. I could not open my account and kept getting an error message and the tickets could not scanned. I had to purchase another set of tickets in the theater. I was instructed to call Fandango which I did from the theater and dispite even proving I had called them to get refunded for their app not working they did nothing. The theater was aware of the whole ordeal. Sadly, Fandango just kept quoting there policy of us not canceling prior to start time. We tried to log into the website and access a confirmation code but could not get it receiving an error message. By the time we were able to reach someone we had to buy another four tickets for the 6:30 showing since we could not see the 6:05 showing we bought on Fandango. Their app had error messages and at last got in at 6:35 while on the phone with a representative. First call hung up and 2nd call again stated they could not credit or refund. Very unsatisfactory customer service. They may have a policy but when it is their fault and an issue with their website how can they not make things right? They ruined my evening and I paid a total of 132.00 for a duplicate of 4 tickets.
I will never use them again.

Bought a ticket for a movie through Fandango, and the theater had issues showing the movie. Fandango didn't refund my money due to an absurd policy that the screening had already taken place.

First of all, the “convenience” fee is ridiculous! There’s absolutely no convenience going on!
Now on to my main gripe….I had a gift card given to me. We spent most of it ($19.99!) trying to watch Wicked. My husband and I thought we had a month to watch it. We’d been dealing with our sick kitty for more than two weeks, then we had to say goodbye to him. 💔
We sat down tonight to finish the movie and it was not available. There was less than an hour left.
I went back and forth explaining what happened to them. Emails and phone calls. For over a week! Do you think they’d have a little sympathy for us and allow us to finish the movie? NOPE! I’m so disappointed in that business. Ugh.

I reached out to Fandango customer service about a old gift card I had and they were able to help me out, overall the customer service was a little frustrating at first but in the end, I am satisfied.
Useless Fandango At Home with Ads
Fandango’s category called Fandango At Home with ads is useless and a waste of time. The ad section was running at about 1/10th speed so I signed out. After signing back in it ran faster but the ads section was about 20 minutes long and when I quit it was still running. Plus the choices are terrible - except the one I chose. I will never use it again.

Don't go through this company to get your tickets. It's more expensive because they tack on a convenience fee. If I did have a gift card, I would have got my tickets at the theater. Also my total was 46 dollars and some change. I used a 50 dollar gift card and they kept the rest of it. I know it's not much but it's the principle of it. Also...46 Dollars for 3 people to see a movie is ridiculous. This is my reminder of why we don't normally go to the theater
Avoid This Company at All Costs!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This company has hands-down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Trying to get a response from them is like shouting into the void—except the void would probably be more helpful.
After multiple attempts to resolve an issue THEY caused, I was met with nothing but unhelpful, dismissive responses and endless delays. Their representatives are either incompetent, uninterested, or both. No one takes accountability, and the level of disorganization is beyond frustrating.
Save yourself the headache and take your business elsewhere. This company clearly does not care about its customers—only about taking your money and disappearing when problems arise. Absolute nightmare!

Fandango customer service is bar-none the worst around. We went to the opening of a movie and we pre-ordered food as it was a late evening showing. When we arrived, not only was the food not ready, but the theater hadn't received the order from Fandango. We sat around waiting for 20-minutes into the show time to be told the theater would bring it to us (not usually a service). After over an hour they finally brought the food. After contacting Fandango they told us that refunds could only be processed before the show time... so we had to anticipate the service being shit before it happened!? After countless communications by phone and email the person just said "bye" and that was the end. Another customer support member told me that because it was after the movie was started there was nothing she could do. They clearly don't give a shit so why should anyone support them. Fandango will never be on my radar again.
Scam Artists
Garbage company! Had to last minute cancel my movie and concession tickets. Movie tickets ....no problem, immediate credit via e-mail. Concession is a bunch of tricks, no easy way to get credit. 1st I send a help message 14 minutes before the movie started. Then I jump on a chat which is finally answered minutes later, give all the details, host says to hold and never answered back. Finally get an email back 1.5 hours later that I need to call them to resolve. I call and they tell me they can't refund after the movie has started. I explain, no problem I reached out before the movie started via email and chat. 2 days of calls and escalations for them to deny, lie about e-mail times, say if I don't have a screen shot of the chat then they can't help. Unreal....all over $31 of credit I wanted for 2 medium sodas and 2 packs M&M's. What a scam, lesson learned, never again. Skip the middle man, total unnecessary service getting rich off scamming regular people simply trying to take their kids to overpriced movies! Horrible customer service and not a care in the world, almost like they enjoyed it!

Your company had me so dang fed up with poor poor poor poor customer service. Then you kept rooting me to no chat agent or it said agent available and nothing nothing appeared You couldn't type anything. The site that I wanted to get our movie tickets were was down and not available but then by the time I've selected or I selected tickets in another city then I'll listen it showed up to Warren well they were different times and I was a half an hour late so I'm out 20 bucks You guys are all losers. I will never ever deal with your company again. $20 is a lot of money for people like us. It was a Valentine's gift. What a way to ruin it.

I signed up for a free trial of fan club service and canceled my membership on the same day. However, the cancellation was unsuccessful, and I was subsequently charged $33.57.
I kindly requested a refund for this charge, as my intent was to cancel before the trial period ended. I did this two seconds after I was charged. They wouldn’t grant me the refund. They only said it’s nothing they could do. Customer service was rude and I was sent a generic email about how they couldn’t solve my problem. Then I was kicked out of fandango so I can’t even use the service they basically robbed me for. Such a shame.
Subscription I did not want.
I just wanted to buy a ticket and got suckered into a 5 day free gift membership. Everything went wrong from the beginning and i emailed the following day, and said, "Cancel immediately." I have that email which they received. They did not cancel and charged me for a subscription I did not want, and the Customer Service is horrible. I feel like I have been robbed. I get no satisfaction from them.
Worst Experience
If I could give them a negative 0 I would. I have worked in customer service before and my experience was far from assisting I had to call 4 different numbers and never got a response from the chat. The first girl just kept repeating herself and she told me the way would be to escalate it and that would take 3-5 business days. I spoke to a manager and she talked over me also on auto. I asked for a case or reference the call, she said it would be in an email. All I was trying to do was fix an error to take my children movie they have been wanting to see. What’s the point of using fandango or having a service line if there was no help at all!

300 of my movies are not listed in my movies in the Roku app. I called support at 5:00ish Pacific time; waited in line for over 30 minutes. When it was my turn it said no agents were available. Tried again and it said that support hours were until 10:00 PM Pacific Time and punted me out. Um, it was 5:30 PM Pacific time. I doubt there's any actual support provided at all and the supposed call queue is all bulls***. I'll be buying content from Prime from now on.
