Formula One Autocentres - Mansfield Omdömen 

I brought a car down in April 2023 for a coil pack and spark plugs. Which was £261.62 including labour, they done diagnostic tests on it and it came back has cylinder 2 and 3 misfire and they fixed it. Anyway went down at the end of February 2024, start of march 2024 and it was having the same issue and they had a look and said it wasn’t the same Issue and wouldn’t do it under warranty which was a year. Please people don’t take any of your motors there or any centre. They want quick jobs, and don’t honour the warranty.

I beg people to go anywhere else. Don’t waste your hard earned money and loved cars on these time waster, money grabbing rip off merchants.

I had 4 new tyres fitted earlier, plus the tracking. Basic work, but service with a smile and done quickly.

There was a small problem but it was dealt with immediately and without fuss.

There's no doubt that I'll be back again in the future and would definitely recommend this garage to friends & family.

Clear helpful friendly and efficient personnel.I called Formula 1 at Mansfield with two problems with my car and within three hours I arrived at my appointed time and within no time at all problems solved.I have run a car for 50 years and have no hesitation in saying this is the best garage I have had dealings with plus this was on a Sunday when most garages are closed.Thank You guys,5 stars.Les Rodgers .

Booked online for Aircon re gassing in Mansfield! Selected the day and a AM slot was told to call to book a time slot, no time slots available very rude service, so had to wait a further week. Arrived at the appointment and couldn’t do the work as didn’t have the gas for the car despite having the car details prior to the appointment. Happy to take the money at online booking stage and now have to wait for a refund for 3 working days. Rubbish service, can’t do the job they advertise. Il got back to ETS!! Never use these again.

Booked in for regas on Saturday. Confirmed by email. Phoned garage for time slot only to be told there weren't any. Happy to take your money then have no availability? Asked for refund still waiting

Found my work vehicle tyre had a tear. Rang at 4pm and spoke to Dan, who was very helpful and told me I could take it up straight away. Kim sorted the new tyre and was very efficient. I was so relieved to have got it sorted out before I went back on the motorway. Thank you both

If I could rate the company a 0 star I would! They do not even deserve the 1 star rating.

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!. Took my car for an mot which failed on a faulty caliper. Asked for a quote to fix it they wanted £690 said couldn't replace one had to do both side's pads discs the lot. Even shown me a picture with fluid burst all over the wheel. Took the car straight to another garage and on the ramp the wheel was bone dry with a slight leak from the caliper they quoted £130 to fix the one caliper. Save yourself the hassle they will try their luck with you!

Booked mot dropped off and gave me a call saying all done easy and great service

UPDATE.. i contacted Formula 1 using the link they supplied. It is now May and have heard nothing back from them. I guess i may get told it never happened ( again)
I used to use F1 very often for tyres once upon a time with no problem. However, had very poor service at Mansfield in the last week. Car was booked for exhaust and MOT following a conversation. On arrival, no part ordered, no MOT slot booked. Only to be told that this was not was arranged with me on the phone 3 days earlier. Guess it must be me then. I went straight to Mr Tyre and the car was sorted and MOT'd within 3 hours.

Excellent customer service, great communication with me, plus really happy with the work they carried out today on my partners car, will definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you.

We were very happy with the service provided. Mark at Mansfield kept us informed of works needed and the cost before doing any work. The car was ready before expected. Would highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Regularly use these guys and always find them to be helpful and reasonably priced. They are usually competitively priced but I don't mind paying a bit extra for the service levels.

I rang up and spoke to John with a problem with my car (Ford Kuga) and he asked me to pop over and see them. I travelled over to them straight away and got a top class service (John and the other guy I didn't get his name), they fixed it on the spot and were incredible on all fronts!

This garage was always my ‘go to’, however after my recent experience, never again.
My car went in for a full service and I paid for the oil upgrade supplement cost £215 total). The assessment came back as the brake fluid needed changing (despite them having done this back in November and not being due), a tyre required replacement, the wheels needed aligning and adjusting (despite them again being adjusted in November and only a few months prior to that) and the front brake discs were “scored.” The total bill was £619!
I expected to go to here and save cost on not being main dealer and for the fact that Sytner Nottingham are also shocking). I said to remove the brake fluid as this was only done a short while back, to change the tyre as this was near legal limit and to do the wheel alignment (as makes sense to preserve the tyres).
Came to pick up the car and despite NO authorisation being given for the brake discs these had been done and the total bill came to £579! Also the tyre has been changed for a non runflat and was not the same make as the others fitted to the car. Plus all tyres were under inflated and so much that a warning came up in the car and to drive carefully.
I rang back dissatisfied and no apologies given for anything by the manager.
If tyres are to be changed I would expect like for like and the right format for my car, if not the customer needs to be consulted about it before any work undertaken. The garage needs to check every item on the invoice and not assume something should be done as this was a very expensive bill and particularly when we are having a cost of living increase across the board. Also if the tyres are under inflated and the car PLUS a digital tyre pressure monitor say they are then believe the customer. Why would I make this up? Check your equipment to make sure it is actually calibrated. You are not faultless and garages will make mistakes sometimes as we are all human. Be the bigger person and just apologise.

Had a problem with my brakes which sounded serious the car was looked out straight away at the Mansfield centre and sorted out for free! Could easily have been told work was needed by less reputable mechanics! Will definitely use for all my future repair/ service and MOTS and highly recommend! Thanks Formula 1
